Will there be fries at intermission?
  2. glunn
They eat fries that way in Amsterdam. Maybe Dutch people settled in Canada?
  3. glunn
Again the Indians are being generous in giving the Twins chances. Now Clete needs to make good contact.
  4. glunn
Wow, I did not realize that it meant that.

    Nice save by Plouffe!

Welcome back. I thought you would be at the symphony by now.
  7. glunn
That's the heart of the policy.
  8. glunn
Yes, the Indians and the first base ump are doing what they can to give the Twins a chance to win.

Sometimes I wish that TD members could read the moderator forum and see how hard we are working to try to find a maintain a balance between letting people post what they want and maintaining the spirit of TD policy.

In any other thread I would delete this as an ethnic comment. There is extra latitude in game threads, but please be mindful of TD policy about this. And yes I realize that we let the Irish stuff slide, but only because the Irish are no longer persecuted, except by their spouses.

They should have hired you to help write the show that we saw last night.
  12. glunn
I hope that you have a fun day.

There are several posts on this thread that are too harsh and disrespectful in attacking the positions of other posters. I have not deleted all of them, but I am warning that this thread is now being closely watched and that bans will be considered if people don't tone down their rhetoric. As always, you can debate as passionately as you wish, but do not use charged words like "asinine: in referring to the positions of others. Repeated conduct like this will lead to bans.

It's no fun for us fans either.

It was pretty funny. I don't know how much more of this walkfest I can bear to watch.

We went to a show last night that was a parody of the Johnny Carson era of the Tonight Show. I think that you and John would have liked it.

    Sunday symphony performance?
  18. glunn
I am getting the Indians feed. Not terrible like the White Sox feed.

We needed another moderator and realized that great power would be involved so we tried to think of a Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man type figure.

Maybe Walters can visit the DL and Gibson can finally debut.

I am now doing a rain dance in the hope of a do over on this game.

I am considering getting a smartphone and wonder if it's easy to interface with TD. Also I can't decide among the Apple, the Galaxy 4 and the HTC.
  23. glunn
My impression is that Brock is a tech genius.
  24. glunn
So does anyone here use a smartphone to access game threads?
  25. glunn
    This is so unfair.
