    I have a Weber Smokey Mountain -- lots of work but worth it. I like smoking ducks.

    The Compton location has an impressive array of smokers in the back, and the brisket is the best that I have ever eaten. The pulled pork is also great there.

    The one in Compton has the best food, but it's in a terrible neighborhood and the only place to eat there is on picnic tables in the back. If you don't want to do take out, then I would suggest that you go to the one on La Brea. I have not been to the La Brea location, but friends have told me that it's good.

    For fast food burgers, In n Out is hard to beat -- everything is fresh not frozen.

    There is a restaurant near my office called Craft that's pretty consistently amazing. My favorite food is BBQ, and there is a place called Bludsoe's that has 2 locations that is incredible.
