Yoko Ono -- When Beatles Rock Band came out... Our Family bought it... Why not?... We had all the rock band equipment that comes with the game. Turns out it had a virus. If you play it too long... Yoko Ono comes over and breaks up the band. 4. Prisons -- The News had a story about the proliferation of Prison Riots. Saying something must be done with our Prison System. I was trying to think of a solution... If only... there was a place where you could send these rioting people... To keep them away from the others. 5. Pirates in the Indian Ocean -- September 19th was International Talk like a pirate day. I didn't participate because I didn't have the time to learn the Somali language.

I read it on my desktop last year. But I didn't have my iPad then. If I get one this year, and I probably will, I will more than likely want to read it on my iPad.

Things to Think About: 1. Playoffs -- The Mariners are about done... 3 games behind the final spot with 4 games left. The A's and Royals are tied for that final spot. The Mariners finish the season off against the Angels over the weekend. Someone will have to collapse and the Mariners have to get hot for anything to change. The Indians are trying to stay alive but that also looks unlikely. So... The Most interesting battle involves the Twins and Tigers and the Royals and White Sox. If it can be avoided nobody wants to get into a sudden death wild card game. The Tigers hold a two game lead over the Royals and that's not Impossible to over come. The Twins can do some damage this weekend. Let's see if they got it in them. 2. First of the Worst -- The D-backs have about sewn up the worst record in baseball. The Rockies and Rangers are battling for the 2nd worst... 4th worst has become a battle between the Twins... Astro's and Red Sox. How can the Twins play spoiler and not drop draft pick slots. I guess the Astro's and Red Sox will have to win right along with us. BTW... Don't take thought #2 very seriously. The team should play to win and where they draft... They Draft. 3. Taking my thoughts seriously... BTW... Don't take any of my thoughts seriously... I just thought I'd type that and label it thought #3... That way I don't have to come up with a legitimate thought #3. 4. Trevor Plouffe -- I'm sorry to hear that Trevor broke a bone and is now done for the year. With his season now over... I just want to state that I noticed his improvement in 2014. He is becoming a more disciplined hitter... He became a better defender with more range... And in my opinion that makes him an improved leader and this team will need leaders going forward. I have no idea what the future holds for Trevor with Sano behind him. But... His future will be just fine if he continues to play like he did this year. 5. Hey Idiot -- The building I work in is across from a High School. Our Parking lot is next to the High Schools Parking lot. As I got out of car and started walking toward the building. Behind me... I heard someone yell from the High School Lot... "Hey Idiot". It wasn't directed at me but... Yep... You Guessed it... I turned around to see if they meant me. What has my life become?

Afternoon Games at the end of the Year with no chance of the playoffs for both teams involved -- That's a long thought title and yet it kinda says it all. Whose gonna be game threading today? Most will be at work unable to watch and unwilling to make extra effort to even watch the game with nothing being on the line. There really isn't no sense in my taking a long lunch to watch baseball under these conditions. 2. Meaningful Baseball in September -- Try to go back in your memories... Try to remember what it was like to be playing meaningful baseball in September. Ladies and Gentlemen... It's the only way to make September interesting. You can bring up all the hot shot rookies and those of us who are aware will be interested in those players alone but the team concept of baseball will still be unappealing. We need to be playing meaningful baseball in September to sustain interest. 3. Phil Hughes -- Should he be starting today? I'm really not one of those who gets excited about who is in the lineup. I'd like to see Pinto play but I don't think the world will come to an end if Pinto is out of the lineup... But... Let's look at Hughes starting today. In theory... Our Manager Ron Gardenhire has stated that he wants to field a competitive team in games that matter and that means his best lineup. Against the D-Backs... He has played players that he wouldn't play against a team in contention... So In theory... Why doesn't he insert starting pitcher X for today's game and therefore save Hughes to go tomorrow against the division leading Tigers. Just a thought... and I don't have an answer. Regardless... I don't care... I'm just pointing it out. 4. Pinto -- He's playing DH today... Let the complaining begin. 5. Sick Days -- Why is it... When people call in sick for the day... They sound like Golf Announcers. Hey... I'm not feeling well today... I can't make it to work... Tiger is about 100 Yards out wind blowing left to right. He needs to get it close to the pin for a chance at Birdie... He's two strokes behind the current leader... It's the Flu... I hope to back tomorrow.
