  1. Well, I posted this one a while ago and it was dismissed as being wrong, because, well, we are not dealing with any sexism or misogyny. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/6/11/1537582/-The-most-thorough-profound-and-moving-defense-of-Hillary-Clinton-I-have-ever-seen
  2. Again, and what is the difference between Hillary and Obama?
  3. Who said that? Right ...
  4. Okay, I think I'll switch to the Sox-Cubs game ... sigh ...
  5. By talk about it you mean acknowledge that you're right in this. I think you are wrong. While there is little I could say that would make you take a different tack, there is little you could say that would do the same. I honestly think that much if not all of this has been fabricated over the years. You call someone untrustworthy so many times, people start to believe it. And it's much easier when the victim in this is female. That I do believe. It's not an intentional, conscious response, but it's there. Sorry, but as much as you claim fair in this, I call equally bogus.
  6. Oh, and here's a new one ... charges pending ... http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/fox-new-evidence-hillary-killed-lincoln
  7. What dicey track record? Oh, right ... all of these ... especially that last one. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/all-the-terrible-things-hillary-clinton-has-done-in-one-big-list-2016-02-04?mod=mw_share_facebook
  8. Colin Powell didn't just get away with it, he faced no scrutiny whatsoever. He got away with it because he wasn't Hillary. And if the left would have been just as bad, why didn't they go after him like the Republicans did Hillary? There is only a one-way street on this one. It is not a case of the 'left would have been just as bad' because they weren't.
  9. I got it. It's during Chief's naptime.
  10. I agree that he thought he was making a joke. At least I hope he was. But I strongly disagree that it was a good one.
  11. I wish Corey Booker was my Senator. He's from NJ. Hoping that Mark Kirk gets the boot from Tammy Duckworth. She's awesome!
  12. Not really much of a bagel eater, but when I do it's either a plain bagel or an everything bagel ... all or nothing, I guess. Oh, and toasted. Plain cream cheese, usually; occasionally the chive one; and low-fat if there is that choice.
  13. And, for the record, I think the 'moral/intellectual superiority stance' is total hypocrisy.
  14. Oh, I know it's a minority of his supporters, but I still know those who won't vote for Hillary and will take a stance of moral and/or intellectual superiority. Most won't be hurt by a Trump presidency so they don't care. And they likely wouldn't have voted for whomever the Dem was anyway. But I know many more Bernie supporters who know what's at stake and they have already said they will vote for Hillary.
  15. I know many who don't care. If that happens they are ready to blame everyone else who didn't support Bernie in the primaries ... as if it will be one big 'I told you so.' And they don't believe in the correlation of not supporting Hillary as helping Trump. For them it's no longer about the issues because they don't support what Trump does, but as I said, they don't care and it won't be their fault. They only want one thing and if they don't get it, they don't care.
  16. I agree. I'm not even sure what the purpose of wearing them is ... nostalgia? But destroying team property is vandalism. If a random outsider did that, they'd get put in jail. If a staff member did that they'd be instantly fired and likely sued for damages. If the players don't like it they should get together and present their case. But destroying team property is a criminal act. He might be the team's ace, but he's also the team's problem child.
  17. Seriously? A movie about Elliot Ness and Al Capone set in ... Boston???
  18. Well, maybe it's even given the game he pitched the other night and lost 1-0. The offense decided to give that one back to him.
  19. I'd fine him the cost of the uniforms.
  20. What's wrong with Suzuki? What happened?
  21. Best movies filmed in Boston? 'Bad Girls Go to Hell' Actually, don't know that movie but saw it on a list and laughed. But ones I've seen and think are good, in no particular order: Good Will Hunting Next Stop Wonderland The Town The Verdict Spotlight Zombie in a Penguin Suit Okay, that last one was a joke, too, but has anyone seen it?
  22. I get that. I just think her choice didn't help with that. This primary showed that people don't want the same old thing yet that's what she chose. I dint think this helps.
  23. Sorry, but this choice was just blech. She had a chance to add some excitement to the ticket and just added the same ol same ol which this primary showed that this is exactly what people DON'T want. And I'm a Hillary supporter and now I just feel utterly deflated. Just blech.
  24. Yeah. Now I'm depressed.
