    Actually he wasn’t found not guilty. Nor found guilty. Yes, the charges were dubious, but this was a civil suit settled, not by the courts.

    If he’s cost us 5 losses, how many wins do you credit him with, then? These kinds of questions do nothing, say nothing. Losing is a team effort. So is winning. Maybe a move the manager made cost them a win. Or maybe the player who struck out looking did, or made an error did. So many here credit him with losses but then don’t credit him with wins. Many here scream at moves and decisions he makes then say the team win in spite of him. While I don’t think he’s the best manager out there, I don’t think he’s responsible for losses alone. I don’t think he’s responsible for wins alone, either. And he can only work with the roster he’s given and I think the players are mostly responsible for wins and losses. While the season isn’t over yet, I’m happy where the team is at because I didn’t expect the team to do well. Season isn’t over yet, so who knows. But my pre-season doubts were squarely on the owner, and not the manager.

    Keep in mind that so far this season, Cleveland’s record v the ChiSox is 5-5. And yet they still lead the division.

    I am fine with them being cautious with their star and having him sit to start the game. It's fine if you don't care, but it still was a reasonable thing to do. But using Farmer instead? Farmer on the roster is a whole different discussion. And one we'd probably agree on.

    Maybe because he got hit in the hand with a pitch the night before and it was decided to give him a rest.

    Not surprised ... just said above he won't want to go to the IL ... the guys are having way too much fun right now

    It will be interesting to see what they do. Correa won't want to go to the IL but he may not have a choice. We'll see ... hopefully ice has done what's needed, but all those bones in your hand can be tricky. If Miranda did have so much padding around his hand yesterday, that could have been the same story

    Just because the public doesn’t see the lineup until when we do, doesn’t mean the players don’t know. Now, I don’t know if they do or don’t, just suggesting that perhaps there was a lag in making it public? Lee, I think for now he stays. He should. He’s earned it. In other words, I think he looks pretty good. Not sure what happens when Royce comes back. I know what I would do, but not sure the Twins will cut bait with Farmer somehow. He needs a helmet that stays on his head.
