  1. An 8 pitch walk, to the pitcher. I can’t think of a more perfect way to sum up Martin Perez
  2. Is muppet Perez gonna walk the pitcher on 4 pitches?
  3. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” is probably what he was thinking
  4. Absolute nonsense AL pitchers are still required to hit during interleague
  5. They’ll start losing anyyyyyy day now. Call it what you want, but the twins playing mediocre ball for 2 1/2 months is essentially playing mediocre ball for half the season. Actually more than half at this point. You can dress it up any way you want.
  6. Imagine hitting the most home runs in major league history and not making the postseason. It could happen.
  7. Wow, sole possession of second place. Hard to believe
  8. Second blown save in 2 days for hand, and he wasn’t sharp on Thursday either. Everyone getting overused it appears
  9. Didn’t they always used to open on the West Coast?
  10. Off the top of my head I can only think of two big games in the last month or so where the team trailed late and came back to win. One was the Sunday vs Oakland when they came back in the 9th to win, but that was after they allowed 4 runs in the final innings to fall behind. The other was the first game after the break in Cleveland where they trailed in the 7th and got a few clutch hits to win. The come from ahead losses have been more frequent. A few when we just needed one more strike to win. The one game in the Oakland series and the one Yankees game. Both needed just one more out/strike. Then the inexplicable Miami loss. I’ll throw the late implosion against the Mets in there too. And then today, a great comback but couldn’t finish it. Every one of those 5 coulda shoulda been wins. Tough to give those away when the Indians never lose.
  11. Yep, when you have exactly two reliable guys in the bullpen, the further you get from the starting getting 18 ours, the less likely we are to win
  12. The problem was needing him for two high stress innings yesterday because we traded for a lemon and have no one besides romo to get big outs
  13. Indians play tomorrow. Could be out of first and the collapse will be complete
  14. Romo threw 25 over 1.3 yesterday. Stashak and dobnak? Nah. Dobnak threw 68 pitches on FRIDAY. No thanks on stashak.
  15. Yeah because we had to use him for two innings yesterday because we traded for an injured reliever and have NO ONE ELSE worth a **** that can get big outs in this situations. Clearly had nothing today, shouldn’t have been out there
  16. This is gonna hurt 10000000 times worse. Don’t even blame Rogers. Tinpot ownership
  17. You’ve gotta be kidding me
  18. What a performance by the offense. 1 run and 5 hits in 8 innings.
  19. Wait til next year when they make the balls less juicy and see what happens to the offense
  20. We need Byron and Nelson back, like ASAP.
  21. Gonzalez and schoop, the absolute black hole of clutchness.
  22. Did buxton and Cruz mean this much to this offense? What a dreadful performance
