    So we used all our best pitchers tonight just to blow a lead and probably lose now with pagan the magnificent in. And the 4 inning whiz goes tomorrow. It’s getting late very early, folks

    Not scoring as the road team with these extra inning rules is the football equivalent of throwing an INT in OT in your own red zone

    Have to wonder if the orioles saw something with Lopez that no one else did. Was a curious move to get rid of him while he was under team control and they were competitive (and still are) for the first time in years. He’s already got 2 blown saves in a few weeks time. Well on to pagan territory

    Disagree, that’s a ball from a RH tailing away. He wasn’t cutting it off. It was getting to the wall and tying the game. You could argue it was dumb to try since it almost cost the IPHR but it was tying the game IMO

    I can’t fault Gordon, that’s a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. walking Max Stassi, a career .210 hitter, is just abhorrent

    I would say unreal, but it is really? And walking a terrible hitter to make it happen. Typical of the entire season

    Quite honestly the team would benefit from a coaching staff reboot. Especially in the hitting department. Way too much regression and underachieving. Would also be nice to get even remotely close to playing fundamental baseball again. We’ve been god awful in that department for several years now.

    Didn’t expect any different but you’d figure you’d have your best shot with Ryan and Gray pitching, but of course they’re not particularly great either.

    3rd or 4th place team in every other division. We’re just not very good. You should know what you are by august 10th. The baseball gods would do us a favor by keeping us out of the postseason. wish we could have moved correa when we had a chance. He’s been incredibly underwhelming.

    I understand but it shouldn’t be. We’re a 3rd or 4th place team in every other division. It’s august 10. We are what we are. Too many have been fooled all year by our place in the standings. That rah rah line will no longer be valid in about an hour or so. Our garbage dump division shouldn’t send anyone to the playoffs. None of the teams belong.
