    Jeffers activated. Tommy Nance acquired from TOR for a minor leaguer. Abel to the 60 day IL to make room there with the 26 man move TBA.

    Yeah this is the right thread for players who die. I remeember him vaguely, as I go back to Hrbek's debut in 1981 as far as what I recall seeing/hearing games. Jorge Polanco activated by the Mets.

    Hmm it's been said several times on radio this year that it has to be batter for a batter and pitcher for a pitcher. Perhaps they were allowed to make that move since Acton was moved from the 15 day to the 60 day IL.

    They can't call him up to replace a position player it has to be an injury to a pitcher. Plus it would put them at 14 pitchers when the limit is 13.

    Jeffers off the IL. Jackson 100% gets claimed in he is DFA'd. If they're going to trade Jeffers by the deadline you have to keep Jackson. With the positional flexibility right now they can roll with 3 catchers. As far as Wallner goes I think it might be best to trade him for an A ball lottery ticket. He likely has almost no value, even with the bomba blast potential he shows. If he isn't traded then he sits in AAA. And I am a guy who likes him. Get Culpepper and Jenkins up before considering Wallner again.

    I've noticed this year that these assignment/opt out clauses have not always led to being added to the 26 man, just the 40 man.

    RHP Woo-Suk Go acquired from DET for cash considerations. Was not on their 40 man but he has an assignment clause and will be needed to be added to the Twins 40 man.

    Are we sure this kid pitching has never been in MLB before? The Twins usually can't do anything against rookie pitchers, especially in NYC.

    There have been some great moments where pitchers have hit a HR, but Rick Camp going yard is probably my second favorite of all time. with Bartolo Colon being at the top. I mean a light hitting pitcher that no one, even their own announcers, thought was possible happened in the 18th inning to tie the game. Baseball is the best.
