    The 1-bounce throw from short. Easier for the 1B to handle than a short hop or wild throw but the bounce really slows the throw. Better not do that if there are wheels going down the line.

    This game will be completed tonight. My daughter, a senior in high school, has taken and passed AP Spanish. Between her and Google Translate I can write the occasional Spanish sentence with the best of them.

    So the good guys are 6-3. One could say that's on a pace for 108-54. Or, since they are undefeated at home and .500 on the road one could say that's on a pace for 122-40. I'd be satisfied with either outcome.

    Interesting that this topic is mentioned. Yesterday was the anniversary of the most boring date in history: April 11, 1954. You can google it to see what I mean. Nothing significant happened. The irony of this is the fact that it was the most boring day in history makes it interesting and significant. So the most boring day in history should actually be the second most boring day in history. I don't know what that was.
