    Gawd, I hate the Red Sox. Nothing gave me more glee than that Bobby Valentine year. And I hate them even more now, they've got all these damn good young guys. Killer B's 2.0, with Bradley, Boegarts, and Betts. They're going to not suck for a long time to come, dammit.

    Say, the Lynx are 8-0 in this young WNBA season. Go, gals! I'm a Lynx fan, and not just 'cuz I like teal, or whatever the hell color they wear. Ya, by golly, it's nice to have one team in the Land of Sky Blue Waters that doesn't suck, you betcha.

    Ouch, that injury report. Hughes took that rocket off his knee, ouch! And May with those back spasms from turning quickly to watch all those rockets he gave up, double ouch!

    I honestly don't mind those things too much. But, having one for David Ortiz, here in the Cities, in the midst of this horrible season-- we're already on our backs, we don't need a sharp stick in the eye, too.

    Nothing in the world can make those awful red things right. Not even a 30-game win streak while wearing them. I wouldn't even want to threaten .500 in those horrid rags. Question to anyone at the game-- when a team hauls out some new uni version, it's for the purpose of selling more swag to fans. Anybody see any of those red jerseys on some fans out there?

    Heh... Late night, waking up late, joining the game thread during thr warmup for a chuckle or two. Loving the beer stories. Didn't even sigh that much at the 4-5 holes in the lineup. Again. Enjoying the banter, right up until you can tell the game has started, then... The comments suddenly turn to, 'oh, crap,' and 'breathe...' and I already know I probably don't want the mlbtv today...

    I don't wanna like this- but I can see it happening. I think TR does things these days now just to p*** me off. And may I add----- that #4 reason, which should be maybe the best one, only works if a certain field manager actually puts those kids in a game. He's been forced to play Bux because of the injury situation, and by gum, when DanSan comes back, I don't want to see him taking Bux's ABs away. Gee, we're getting Mastro back soon too, that probably means Kepler goes down in favor of a "vet." We've probably seen the last of Alex Meyer for another year, most likely due to Molly's mishandling of that whole affair, and where the heck has Arcia been the past couple of weeks? Molly needs to go, but quick, if any of that #4 option is going to happen.
