    Today's prank: Told a co-worker I got a hot lead from the Austin Zoo that they need our services. Told her to call and ask for Jay Raffe. If he wasn't available, ask for Jim Panzie. She fell for it.

    So my team has been having a prank war over the last 2 weeks. Some are nearing the edge of crossing the line... It first started with replacing my co-worker's family pictures with pics of her celebrity crush Brad Pitt. Others bought fake cockroaches and scattered them around the office. It's now evolved to a person making a craigslist ad saying there's an above garage apartment available for rent with my phone number... I rebutted by signing him up for Farmersonly.com yesterday.

    As Reed's adopt-a-prospect father on this site, he faced at least 4 batters in his AA debut on June 2nd... He walked 3 and struck out one. 20 pitches, 7 strikes.

    I would be. As Willihammer posted, the velocity dip after 55-60 pitches isn't good. The velocity in general 88-91 isn't exciting. If he forgoes pitching all together, then they just spent the #1 overall pick on a 1B/DH type.

    Concur. The team should be in no rush to move up Gonsalves. I wouldn't be upset if he spent all of this season off the 40 man roster. Maybe next season he'll make his MLB debut. In another episode of "Spring Training Stats are Meaningless!" let me introduce ByungHo Park! He of the .200 BA and .638 OPS in AAA... I'm losing hope he'll ever make a difference in Minnesota.

    I'm not quite sure what it would be without watching the guy in person... The velocity is still there. For some reason he's not getting any strikeouts and walking a boat load of people in 16 innings.

    Top 10 may be a bit aggressive... He was #50 on MLBPipeline's pre-season list. He could be flirting with #25-35 now.

    Soooo, who takes over Hughes' spot in the rotation if he moves to the bullpen? Even though he's been smoke and mirrors so far, he's still light years better than Gibson this season.

    And it will more or less settle any dispute between the FO and Molly... Since Molly wanted Wimmers on the MLB team out of ST. I'm more than fine with calling up the fringe 40 man players first so they can make a final decision whether to hold them or fold them.
