    I would truly enjoy a flight attendant using sarcasm and snark during pre-flight announcements... I mean, they do the same announcements thousands of times. Have some fun with it!

    Concur. I'm also of the belief that 90-100 high leverage innings is just as valuable as 160-180 innings as a #5 pitcher. Considering the team doesn't have a ton of talent in the rotation, I'd like to keep the bullpen strong, and utilize the Royals bullpen strategy this season.... Where we hope for 5-6 decent innings from the #4/#5 starter, and let the bullpen take over from there.

    Seth, any updates for my adopt-a-prospect Jake Reed? Seems like it's been radio silence for him.

    I'm bought in on Duffey being the bullpen "fireman"... He's been doing really well out of the pen, and there are other starters in the organization that can pitch 5-6 innings when the need arises.

    Lots on here have been saying keep unless it's a big return... Well, that's up to interpretation right? Erv Santana is not Chris Sale, so that kind of haul isn't realistic. I said earlier that if the offer is a top 100 SP prospect + a young (18-21) positional prospect or 2 would be enough to pull the trigger. What do people mean by big return?

    Not until June when they draft Hunter Greene #1 overall!

    It may make sense to dangle him out before Jose Quintana and Yu Darvish are put on the trade block this season. That way they can set the market for how much a SP should get in return. Once the White Sox set the market for Eaton and Sale in the winter, the hot stove started to cool down.

    Hmm... I'd probably look for a top 100 SP prospect, and another very young positional prospect or 2.

    This July could be pretty exciting if it shapes out the way we want it to. If they're truly contending, it would be nice to trade a prospect or 2 for immediate help... If they're out of it, they have 2 solid trade pieces to dangle.

    I'm pretty flustered tonight gang... Heard the world's worst excuse for cancelling a date tonight. She said she forgot her ID at home and couldn't go out to meet for a date in a group setting. I also had a girl do a "reading" of my left palm at the bar. Said I had the correct crease in my hand for lots of success!! But she said I'm also going to die at 50 years old.... HYPOTHETICAL: What would you do if you had ~23 years left on this Earth?
