  1. I would be. As Willihammer posted, the velocity dip after 55-60 pitches isn't good. The velocity in general 88-91 isn't exciting. If he forgoes pitching all together, then they just spent the #1 overall pick on a 1B/DH type.
  2. NEVER FORGET: Seattle is a place that tops their hot dogs with creme cheese.... Those savages.
  3. He's really snuck up on our radar the last couple of weeks. I'm very intrigued with Gore, and hope to read an article about him on here soon!
  4. Concur. The team should be in no rush to move up Gonsalves. I wouldn't be upset if he spent all of this season off the 40 man roster. Maybe next season he'll make his MLB debut. In another episode of "Spring Training Stats are Meaningless!" let me introduce ByungHo Park! He of the .200 BA and .638 OPS in AAA... I'm losing hope he'll ever make a difference in Minnesota.
  5. I think they're going to keep churning out episodes until it's past the expiration date... House of Cards was great early on and had a ton of buzz... But now in its' 5th season, I don't really see or read the same kind of buzz for that show. Same thing applies to Orange is the New Black... I'm seeing they're about to release the 5th season, and personally I jumped off that show after season 2.
  6. I'm not quite sure what it would be without watching the guy in person... The velocity is still there. For some reason he's not getting any strikeouts and walking a boat load of people in 16 innings.
  7. Top 10 may be a bit aggressive... He was #50 on MLBPipeline's pre-season list. He could be flirting with #25-35 now.
  8. I'm skeptical Romero is even close to ready at this point...
  9. Soooo, who takes over Hughes' spot in the rotation if he moves to the bullpen? Even though he's been smoke and mirrors so far, he's still light years better than Gibson this season.
  10. And it will more or less settle any dispute between the FO and Molly... Since Molly wanted Wimmers on the MLB team out of ST. I'm more than fine with calling up the fringe 40 man players first so they can make a final decision whether to hold them or fold them.
  11. The Angels have 2 MLB players, and the Twins only have 1 (!!!!!!) The Twins lost ANOTHER trade! http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8oa1wxBd91r44jtbo1_1280.jpg
  12. Is Craig Breslow available the next couple of days? He's wile e. enough of a veteran to pull this off.
  13. HYPOTHETICAL: Let's say you're Randy Rosario.. Maybe you'll have a good career. Maybe you'll only pitch 5 innings total in the majors. Would you groove a pitch to Pujols in order to be on his highlight reel for the 600th HR? Also, in this scenario, the bases are empty, and the Twins are up 27-0.
  14. Little did we know they have a couple of Billion Dollar arms on staff! Impressive!
  15. There's so many little things to point out in that monster HR clip... Lidge immediately knows he messed up and goes down to his knees devastated. The Astros catcher immediately asks for a new game ball and runs out to calm down Lidge. Frankly, what on Earth could he have said in that moment to make Lidge not feel an inch tall? The crowd was going wild and after that moon shot, you could hear a pin drop.
  16. So Trout is getting all of the praise these days for being the best player on the planet... BUT, how quickly we forget that not too long ago, Albert Pujols was literally the perfect baseball player for the first 10 years of his career. His stats were unbelievably consistent where his lowest BA was .299 (his 10th full season) 30+ HRs and 100+ RBI every year. I'll always remember when he broke Brad Lidge psychologically for years because of this monster bomb... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fntuc9cmy4
  17. You may also see Wile E. on the streets as your local Uber driver... That dude knows how to GRIND for his cash!
  18. Little known fact about Wile E. Coyote...He's actually the person who's behind all of the "I made $67k last month working from home! Click on the link below to learn about the secrets of making a TON of money from home!" posts you see on every comment section ever. It's a pretty lucrative gig!
  19. Probably similar, if not worse, than 2016 Jose Berrios. The dude's not ready, and probably won't be ready for 12-18 months.
  20. If they were headline pieces, then yeah I agree. As a 2nd or 3rd piece, either or would work.
  21. I'm a big fan of Wade, but wouldn't be opposed to making him a potential trade chip. Not sure if his value is higher or lower than Rosario at this point. If Wade is more sought after, then yeah, I'd probably do it.
  22. The current ranking of Stewart looks fair. I thought he was the right pick at the time, and won't fault the organization for choosing a raw player with a ton of upside. Some work out, some flame out.
  23. Agreed. If this is an evaluation year, then the point is to shuffle through all of the options and discard bad players. If this is a contending year, then there's no room for those kinds of players anyway.
  24. Couldn't agree more. They need to step up and make some investments if they want a good bullpen. I don't know how many more years we have to keep playing supplementary pieces in high leverage roles... Hasn't worked for 4+ years.
