    Plouffe teased something like that setup during a recent appearance on Skor North’s Twins podcast - he said he’s going to be teamed up with a non-traditional play by play guy (no Provus) later this season.

    Pretty clear that Lewis doesn’t trust his lower half and is trying to overcompensate

    We traded basically the 2025 draft to pick Turner. If he doesn’t pan out that’s real value lost.

    The #1 trait I want in a GM is their ability to draft. It’s the life blood of any NFL team. Going all out in free agency isn’t a sustainable option. And his only success story in the draft to date is Addison. That’s just a fact. I have high hopes for the team but there’s no denying that we are an old team. We need some young talent to keep up our winning ways.

    2023 draft is basically Addison. We will see if Blackmon comes back to start at CB… Jay Ward is a special teams only guy, and the other 2 are already off the team (Hall and McBride). We don’t know much at all about the 2024 class with Turner not getting much playing time. I think there’s still a ton of improvement to be made with drafting.

    I trust the reporting of Phil Miller over Charley Walters. Walters is the biggest hack sports writer in the state.

    I’m very interested in seeing what Connelly’s plan is this summer. Priority #1 is finding a legit PG who can be a floor general. Conley looks like he’s going to retire. Even if he comes back, he’s an end of the bench 5-10 min a game player at 38 years old. Do they take a massive hit on defense by trading Gobert? Who do they keep out of Randle and Naz? Both are sign and trade possibilities too.

    I just tuned in very late. Where’s Provus today?

    We’ve basically become the Seattle Mariners. Pitching staff that’s capable of 90+ wins with a slightly above average offense. But stuck with an offense that holds the team back to 85 ish wins.

    Speaking of the Rays stadium situation, it appears that in April they abandoned the $1.3B new stadium project in St Pete. Which, good for them because that plan stunk. But now what? Are they repairing the Trop as a temporary fix? Then relocating?

    I still enjoy going to a couple games at Target Field and will continue to do that. My passion as a fan of the Twins has declined over the last couple of seasons - mostly due to decisions the Pohlads have made. Now that I was conditioned to enjoy my summer without the Twins on TV last year, my habits will continue on. I’ll watch when it’s convenient. If I miss a couple weeks of games so be it. That’s the beauty of this website. I can stay up to date on everything without dedicating time watching them on TV, or attending games at Target Field.

    That’ll probably do it for the series. This game came down to way too many turnovers and allowing way too many offensive rebounds which OKC turned into points. Plus quiet nights from Ant and Randle.
