    Its a good thing for VMart that DH is a position in the lineup for AL teams.

    that describes every catcher on the active roster, not to mention some other position players on the 25 man roster and almost the whole pitching staff.

    Didn't Centeno catch the last game? And Mauer gets both games off. I guess some can be happy about that.

    I've never felt worse about a Twins season myself. Not that I expected us to be good by any means, but this is just horrible.

    It was a lazy, lazy throw. He had just made a horrible pitch, then he was told to walk the guy, and he threw it like he didn't even care.

    I think we easily have the #1 draft pick now. Braves have 6 more wins than us right now and are leading 5-0 in today's game. It's awesome to easily be the worst team in baseball. Like I said during ST, a horribly constructed team. Well done, TR, glad you're gone.

    allowed a guy to score. probably not a good idea to just assume something worse would have happened and then say, eh, throwing a wild pitch allowing a guy to score wasn't so bad after all. Additionally, the same kind of, um, logic, could be said for any of the other examples shown here. But since it was an intentional walk attempt, and that's what we are discussing here, was it the worst attempt at an intentional walk? Worst I've seen, that's for sure. For sheer lack of giving a carp about doing the task assigned.

    The problem wasn't necessarily that he airmailed it. It was the complete lack of concentration or effort when he threw it. The kind of ho-hum nonchalant way he did it.

    Well, it's an unscheduled day game. People working, people at school. Pat Dean was starting. I probably wouldn't have come back for today's game either. The ones who didn't come back today were spared the embarrassment of the 9th inning. At this point, I don't know why anyone would bother showing up anymore, to be quite honest. And it hurts to say that.

    I like how Martinez got in the throwing path between Centeno and the pitcher on that, and then slowly hustled out of the way when it was too late in a 'my bad' sort of way. As if it wasn't intentional.

    my 10 year old daughter can do an intentional walk better than that.

    he threw it as if he was tossing a scuffed ball to the catcher to give to the ump to remove from the game.

    Dick just got done saying Buxton has been putting the ball in the air too much. Then he says, look, he hits it on the ground, gets a base hit. Yeah, that verifies your bias, Dick.

    This whole organization should feel ashamed for the product they've put on the field this year.

    I'd be surprised if the Twins actually had May in the rotation next year, regardless of what's been said by our interim GM.
