MLB.com prospect people traditionally rate players closer to the majors higher. I don't have too much faith in their prospect lists, myself. Just my opinion.

Alvarez, on Fangraphs, is the Dodgers #1 prospect with Bellinger #2. Stewart is their #7. Lux is like 12th. De Leon and Alvarez by without anyone else added to those two is a huge haul for 2 years of Dozier.

I don't see how it plays into value going back to the Twins. Twins are only trading two years of control.. Whatever Dozier works out with the Dodgers for longer than 2 years is all about Dozier and the Dodgers.

Are you assuming the Dodgers extended him? Cause it's only two years. I can Dozier dropping down to a 3.5 WAR player. He's projected lower, but I don't buy him going as low as some projections say.

I think Lux ends up a utility player myself. No interest at all. Have we given up on Gordon already?

Ethier will be off the books, A Gone, Kazmir will be off the books in two seasons .Crawford is either is off the books or will be next year.

I'd rather have Calhoun, Buehler or Stewart than Lux.

Exactly. Earlier, when we were told it was De Leon and Alvarez/Bellinger but working on who the 3rd and maybe 4th prospect was, I said 'If that's true, not sure why our FO even cares about the 3rd/4th guy. Take the two players and run before the Dodgers FO sobers up.'
