Yeah... I think Grossman has 2 weeks to prove himself before Park comes up! AND i love Buxton in the 3 hole
  2. Homer Hanky
Do we know who the emergency catcher is?
  3. Homer Hanky
Jay would/will be fantastic out of the pen.

  5. Homer Hanky

  7. Homer Hanky

AND St Paul Pioneer Press adds... The Twins announced a pair of minor-league signings on Wednesday: veteran corner infielder Matt Hague and first baseman/outfielder Reynaldo Rodriguez. Hague, the 2015 International League MVP at Triple-A Buffalo (Toronto Blue Jays), spent last season with Hanshin in Japan. Hague, 31, has 91 career plate appearances in the majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Blue Jays. Rodriguez, 30, has been in the Twins’ system the past four seasons, including an 80-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs in 2016. They join veteran outfielder J.B. Shuck, signed to a minor-league deal over the weekend.

I think we will need a future 3B when Sano replaces Mauer in a few years! Any options there?
  13. Homer Hanky
Agreed... Berrios must start... In fact my preference for a starting 5 would be Santana Santiago Berrios Gonclaves [terrible spelling... sorry] OR Mejia [A YOUNG LEFTY] Gibson
  14. Homer Hanky
I'm in the Berrios has to be a starter this year camp. I also wonder if Hughes would make a good closer... on this rebuilding team. Trade Brandon and then role with the youngsters in the rotation and move the old guys to the pen...

I agree that Ryan promotes way to slow... what are some examples of guys who made the jump and were successful? What type of realistic expectations for guys should we have?
  16. Homer Hanky
Seth, besides his excellent pitch framing... do you know if Jason speaks Spanish... and could this be another plus side to this signing... as he can communicate better with several of our latin players... if he can... this signing just keeps getting better.
  17. Homer Hanky
Love for him to be the Closer and have Perkins be the Lefty specialist....
  18. Homer Hanky
And the first comment is about how awesome DJ is... i sure wish we could have added him.
  19. Homer Hanky
    Thanks Seth for clarifying... #sethisbesttwinsfanever
  20. Homer Hanky
Juan is Gone.... now @ 38
  21. Homer Hanky
yeah.. why in the world are Santana, Boshers, and O Rourke still on the 40... *Grossman maybe but, id rather see Granite take the 4th spot...
  22. Homer Hanky
Really wish Santana would find a new home... What are the chances DJ gets taken?
  23. Homer Hanky
Twins fan in Milwaukee... I hope to see him hit a few bombs... just when my favorite 9 come to town!
  24. Homer Hanky
I think there is 0% that Santana is on this team...
