    I would rather see a platoon of Joe and Sano... Trade... Park and let em play...

    I'm still scared to death of a "gapper"... hit between Buxton and Sano... Buxton easily tracks it down but Sano does not hear him call for it... and Sano takes out Buxton and they both are hurt all year! --- Is there any realistic solution for this to not happen... that does not involve Buxton in AAA all year... What if we did the unthinkable... and traded Park for pitching? Thots?

    Next years Catchers I hope are Ryan as the Starter and Hicks as the Backup!

    not only is May headed there... I think it is time... to face the music that with all these minor league signings and invites... We will tic them all off if we sign a big time lefty for the pen... So let's face the music and realize there is not going to be any BIG signings... Sad...

    I find his defensive woes as a sign that the Twins are trying to turn him into that supper utility guy... which is a GREAT thing in my opinion! If he can hit and fill in at 8 positions... then this is good... Then Maybe we can let Nunez go and keep a little more pop on the bench!

    I like this game so I throw out my suggestion... Dozier 2B Mauer 1B Buxton CF Sano 3B Arcia LF Park DH Rosario RF Murphy C Escobar SS bench- Suzuki, Santana, Nunez, Free Agent with some pop...* the idea of Ploof replacing Nunez would make me happy!

    has anyone talked about the idea of moving ploooof to the outfield? he was out there before he grew up and matured as a GREAT hitter! thoughts?

    Sano is much faster than people gives him credit for, considerably faster than Mauer. But I think Sano to the OF is a smoke screen. I think Plouffe has played his last game for the Twins. I agree with the smoke screen... and I hope that Plouffe is traded for MANY good bullpen arms!

    I'm wondering with this signing and the talk of sano to the outfield as a possibility... what do people think of moving Mauer out there... instead of Sano?

    They may have given up on him to early but, could they have gotten a good catcher with out giving up on him... Since i can't have the best of both worlds... I'm glad we made the trade... and hope that Murphy can be the Catcher we need... GREAT write up!

    A few dark horse signings like this are fantastic... However I do hope we go out and get a few sure things when it comes to the bullpen... Plooooof is a great player that can be traded for some sure fire bullpen arms!

    Every team will have a few What If's... The one that bugs me about my favorite 9 is... What if we had E. Santana all year... That is one that will haunt me!

    Has anyone talked about the idea of trading E. Santana for another stud picture that can actually pitch in the post season... I hate thinking about E. Santana kicking but the rest of the year and then not being able to pitch in the post season. If we traded E. Santana who would we want in return that has a similar contract or even more friendly... Someone on the Rays... ?

    I wonder... is it time to think of Alex Meyer as the set up man next year and then eventually take over for PERK... great K rate... just can't to be consistent... I do hope he can turn it around and be a starter!

    Seth: Do you think the Twins would be interested in this Rule 5 guy? "The Phillies have put Rule 5 Draft pick Andy Oliver on waivers, CSN Philly’s Jim Salisbury reports. If Oliver clears waivers, Salisbury notes that the Phils could try to fully obtain the lefty’s rights from the Pirates in a trade. As a Rule 5 Draft player, Oliver must spend the entire season on a 25-man roster or else be offered back to his original club (Pittsburgh)." The Twins did draft him back in the day... and he is a Lefty...
