  1. Good to see Ben making up for his offense this season.
  2. Ah, but did you find a replacement for the type of painted women the west coast offers? Nostalgic for "**** rules!" threads still exists.
  3. If Cleveland math is 22+3=27, Then Cuban math is 50-9=41 or 33-2=21, And California math is Bert's favorite subject, I hate math.
  4. KLAW also ranked our system overall as #2. That's optimistic for the furture and it is good to know who number 2 works for.
  5. A word of advice, don't ever learn how to properly put things down. Everyone will know what you are intending when you write things the wrong way. It is a rule of the internets. As for a 3/27 deal, it would be a very nice hometown discount if the big mountie has a big bounce back year. Much less than what a free market flush with cash would net I would think.
  6. Let me put on my robe and wizard hat...
  7. Should have been a Twins fan in the mid-late 90's. This feels close to the same, but a little worse because it feels like they should be better.
  8. This. Grienkie, Grienkie, and more Grienkie. He should be a priority target. Diamond/Hendricks/Blackburn/filler until Gibby's ready should be near the top in this division if Grienkie's added. Typing Blackburn's name was painful, but do you have him in the pen or the rotation next year? Doubtful we cut him lose with 5+ million still owed to the swashbuckler.
  9. We need to have our guys stop throwing, so that they never injure their elbows anymore. Can you have a pitching machine on the mound? Would that be better than or equal to our starters right now?
  10. ditto...it reads more like a junior high girl's ranting on the latest trendy movie/pop star/whatever thing that really isn't interesting, but looks pretty and now disappoints because it's aged thing. So many May (trades in May???? Really?) deals passed up....WTF, grow up and realize we have been dealing from a position of weakness and the deadline isn't even here yet (close, but **** if we were going to deal for that beautiful Japaneses man that swings a pretty bat). It just got weaker in some respects, much like most of my bar nights picking up women of lose morals (Early in the night it may seem like I have something to offer, but in those Midwest bars they eventually turn on the lights and it doesn't look so pretty), but there's still hope to pick up a decent stray or two. Prospect that is. Maybe I'm just numb to it now.
  11. We'll see Blackburn again. If not after a Liriano-type trade, then when rosters expand.
  12. I knew you had the same name, just got the numbers wrong. Maybe I'm the "stupid jock".
  13. It just "feels" like this team is better in many respects. The cluster of a rotation though brutally stomps on any hope I often drudge up this summer. There are some good things to build on offensively, defensively, pensively, and quite possibly if the rotation is fixed next year (FA, trade, cloning of Cy ________) could be special.
  14. I am hungry for some Frankenberry for lunch now. Anyone know where Brock1976 went?
  15. Gladden would make the Boston clubhouse look like a Chucky Cheese birthday party.
  16. That's the phrase that launched BYTO.
