    Prielipp not fooling anyone so far. Game is already virtually over after the first inning. Highly unlikely we'll score enough runs to even tie, let alone take the lead. Sigh!

    Who's likely a better defensive shortstop than Lee and maybe about equal at 3rd? I think it's at least worth a shot and get a sense of how it might play out in a longer run.

    Just heard that Trevor Plouffe will be in the TV booth for at least the Red Sox series. Good news indeed!

    For the most part, he pitched well enough to get a win. Unfortunately, it's more likely he'll end up with an undeserved loss, due mostly to the grossly incompetent offense we have. Sigh!

    I don't disagree. However, at least Gray and Kreidler offer a glimmer of hope, which is more than we can honestly say about Lewis at this point in time.

    Especially because there are other options available. Maybe not perfect or ideal options, but options nonetheless. Most anything would be better than this.

    Agree. Very high likelihood that he'll swing at and miss each such pitch. He's become more unplayable than Wallner was. That's saying something, none of which is good or worthwhile.

    With only about 30 innings pitched this season, if I heard correctly.
