    With 2 open spots on the 40 man, that would cover a Jenkins call up, if they want to go that route. Not needed for Roden, as he's already on the 40 man. That would leave at least one 40 man spot available, without taking into account other potential roster moves that may be coming. Who else might it be for? Other roster fallout would likely also occur as well. Outman and Bell are two names that fans have been tossing around. Then, how would all those spots be filled? Lots of potential questions with no clear answers, as it now looks to me.

    It'll likely get worse before it gets better. A LOT worse!

    At best, he's a platoon player who has a bit of power, can't hit lefties well at all, and is defensively mediocre (at best) in the outfield. Not a lot of demand for those types of players, especially with a salary north of $4 million.

    Problem is, who would give up more than a bag of used balls for him? Few, if any, teams would be my guess.

    Agree, but I don't expect that to ever happen. This front office/ownership group will come up with some excuse for not doing that exact thing.

    And even if we had somehow drafted him, he would likely still be in AA trying to figure something out. Because, you know, that's how TC operates.

    If we'd had healthier outfielders in SP, Outman likely would have been off the roster by now, IMO. But, here we are. Clemens in CF sounds to me like a disaster just waiting to happen. It's become increasingly clear that they don't trust Fedko, either.
