  1. For the record, if/when Albers is sold to Korea, that number will appear as a credit at the bottom of the payroll portion of the page.
  2. Maybe it's because I just don't know a ton about beer... but what's 612 Brew have to do with Mason's? How come the glass has both on them?
  3. I think the Lorax would have wanted to keep the trees. He does, in fact, "speak for the trees".
  4. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xYJ5EnRTuqE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Video embed doesn't work in the thread, so you were re-directed to the Google+ page. If you weren't able to view it, you can view it later on YouTube or listen to iTunes. We'll go back to the other way next Tuesday. Thanks for hanging out! YouTube:
  5. Be sure to stop and hang out with Seth and I at 8:30 tonight. You can view the video by clicking this link. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them below. If not, that's fine too. Seth and I will have a wide range of Twins-related topics to discuss for 60 (or maybe 90) minutes.
  6. I think you missed the key point: Those moves could "add to the depth of the team and gives us better odds of fill holes we have". Suzuki is on a one-year deal, so there is still a need ar catcher. Florimon probably isn't the answer and it could be argues that the Twins don't have a single long-term SS. That's how I took it anyway.
  7. It's been floated out there that the Cubs formal offer is nearly $160m not including the posting fee. The Japanese link mentioned teams that made formal offers, but seemed to indicate there were more than just the five or six listed. Though, in my mind, there is little difference in submitting an offer that has no chance and not submitting one at all.
  8. Bruno is a great call! I bet I could talk my mom into coming with me for that one... Bruno and Brian Harper, her two favorites. Of note: My dad also has a mustache.
  9. The Twins did a Gladden Bobblehead in 2008, so I don't think they'll bring him back. I think Dozier and Perkins would be strongly considered. But I'm not sold on Mauer, either, after having just done one for him. If Knoblauch is inducted into the Twins HOF, I could see it being him. (They did it for Gaetti and Aguilera, but didn't continue that trend in 09.) I think it would be neat if they made it All-Star themed. So in terms of how it would be that way: Puckett in June Carew in July Perkins in August (in conjunction with Fifteen's 5K) Killebrew in September Though we'll probably see something more along the lines of what Seth said, Perkins, Dozier, etc. I think Arcia could be a darkhorse. Maybe Nolasco. And, if you ask Terry Ryan, maybe Eric Fryer.

  11. Join Seth and I tonight at 8:30 for another episode of #HangoutandTalkTwins. We're going to put the HOF talk to rest for once and for all and we'll also discuss the A-Roid suspension (which, if you follow Seth on Twitter, you know he's against). Though the Twins haven't done anything newsworthy lately, I'm sure we'll find a way to fit them in too. To watch this week's show, please keep reading...[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RxUgTpupTlY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
  12. After Siverio left his national coach made a comment about him being a "AA or AAA talent".
  13. Mike Berardino handles the Twins for BA now and, as a former BA staffer, probably got as much or more input from other sources as the rest of the guys putting lists together. We are well aware that Mike will turn every stone over. Mike will host the BA Twins chat tomorrow afternoon. Kepler will be #11 in the top 30.
  14. I'm just assuming the guys that finish 6 and 7 for the starting jobs are the long-relievers. This group includes Duensing and Swarzak. Diamond and Duensing compete for a lefty role. Worley, Deduno, Diamond, Gibson and Swarzak compete for the #5 job/long-relief role. I also wonder how much trade value Swarzak has. Maybe not much, but I'd think more than Worley.
  15. Updated to include Spring Training numbers. (If you highlight that table and print "selection", it prints out neatly on a single page.) Also, Suzuki's contract details are updated (thanks to Mike, again). Soon, I'll start projecting rosters a little bit more.
  16. Seth can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we discussed this last year. It had to do with licensing, which would cost 150% of the profit.

  19. Join Seth and Jeremy at 8:30 tonight as we discuss Twins Baseball. It will be viewable in link on this page as well as on Jeremy's Google+ page. We don't have a verified guest yet, and even if our planned guest falls through, we'll have plenty to talk about... we always do! See you tonight at 8:30 pm. (Click below to watch The Twins Hangout Live.) Feel free to send us your questions or thoughts. 20. I'll need to change the wording. He can earn $3.5 total, which includes 2014 incentives and 2015 escalators, which are tied to his 2014 performance.
  21. For everyone that wants to assume the worst, the Twins probably don't care if he needs surgery and is gonna miss the year, because they know MLB found out he stole someone's identity, is actually 24, and is going to be suspended all year anyway. Right?
