there is no rush, we will have lots of time before he hits his next one, after the ASG.

That was by far the most important play Dozier has made this year! Missing Nuxton!

They seem to have a couple catchers, I think Turner is the other, in MiLB who are MLB ready defensively. Right now we are playing two who aren't, and certainly aren't making up for it with the stick.

    For shoes?

What do Sano and Arcia have in common?
  6. Platoon
So now Dick/Bert claim Ryan said that Sano is too valuable to put back in RF? WTF changed while he was on the DL? I know that D/B had glowing reports of batting practice the other day, but who knows, the wind could have been blowing out.

CB, contact NSA immediately, the Rusians have hacked your computer.

And next week got to the mall because "I have nothing to wear" !

Off the top of my head I can come up with at least 25M reasons!

That is an extremely logical, well thought out caveat. Unfortunately Terry missed that day in economics. When he hands out money he is going to get his money's worth. Nolasco has had I don't know 50 starts. Pelfrey. Hughes. Plouffe. And so forth. Terry has a different definition of "gets your money's worth" than I do! . Some make fun of the use of the term Twins Way! But it's not just a slogan. Maybe it should be change to Twins Personna? Because there are players who do not fit their profile, and regardless of stats or production, they are not going to be here. In the same token, those who do are pretty well set for a long, if not productive MLB career.

Just the greatest comeback in history. In a stunning reversal, Suzuki hits a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game. Jepsen pitches four innings of no hit ball into the bottom of the 14th. Mauer singles to RF. Plouffe and Dozier bunt him to third, and Park PH for Esco hits a mammoth HR that hits the top of Minnie and Paul! Arcia, still with the team due to a clerical error pours bubble gum all over Park while he is interviewed by Audra, who struggles trying to conduct the interview in his native language, (but since it's Audra, no one is really listening, just watching) . But the most stunning part of the GT is when some idiot misspelled 'Canadien' yet again!

Some people think the most secure job is Supreme Court justice. Lifetime appointment. Some say it iis being the Twins manager. Others will argue that the Twin GM is even more secure than a lifetime appointment. Me? I am going with the guy who sews the names on the back of Twins uni's! Now there is a guy that will always have regular work!

If you're gonna be bad, be the best bad you can be! And with this news I bid a fond adieu.
  15. Platoon
You must be the new fill in for Chief?
  16. Platoon
I think it would be umwise as a new owner to disrupt the FO in a time of transition. I would need time to assess each employees strengths and weaknesses, before I would consider wholesale changes? .................... In the unlikely event change is warranted, I think an in house replacement would be preferred, to continue operating in the Twins Way. Or maybe I'll clean house, who knows?
  17. Platoon
Thank you, thank you very much.... .

I need to invent a sarcasm emoji. In a couple weeks I will be able to sell it to Google for 1.7B and then buy the Twins.
  19. Platoon
we needed to keep Robbie. Players like him do not come along every week. And Sano will be back soon, we need a spot in the OF for him, so we can keep Our cleanup hitter. And lest someone thinks I am not paying attention we signed a guy to DH for the next 4 years so we are set there also. Sometimes it's necessary to look at the big picture.

Dick just did the whole Buxton with a long run and glides after it,,,, it's Santana. Someone should change the corporat script for Dick when they make a position change.
  21. Platoon
Isn't North one? Someone spell Canadien wrong again, that always gets his attention!
  22. Platoon
So Dick is wondering whether Oswaldo gets claimed. And thinks he might end up back with the Twins MiLB. I would hope Arcia would not do that. I think the history with this team precludes that.
  23. Platoon
And don't forget, we get to keep the vaunted Robbie Grossman. Yet another important cog in La Machine. Good for Oswaldo. I hope he holds up somewhere and does well.
