  1. So I'm sure everybody on here thinks Buxton should have charged in and caught that one as well....
  2. Martin made the right play, the ball died as it was off the end of the bat. If he goes for it and misses, it's an inside the park GS.
  3. Easy catch from behind your computer screen. Martin made the right play, if he misses it, it's an inside the park GS...
  4. Understood. His B-R page states he was born in Tampa, FL on 2-27-84, his Wikipedia page states he was born in Washington, D.C. on 2-27-84, only the Shadow knows...
  5. The next Brian Harper?? His career blossomed late with the Twins, basically handed the starting C job half way through his age 28 season; had a pretty good 6 year run in MN....(shoulder shrug, got nothing else!!)
  6. Tonkin at only 9 pitches, does he get the chance at the BS in the bottom of the 9th?
  7. Can't get thrown out on the bases if you circle them all at once...
  8. And Gasper with the HR...who had that on their Twingo Card!!
  9. Not happening...but he still has 3 trips through arbitration, some team might trade a top prospect or 2 thinking that they can fix him.
  10. How about Clemens, Buxton & Jeffers... we'll see if Rocco plays "all-in" to get the win...
  11. Not for those 30 PA, loses too much $$$ in arbitration...
  12. Wallner. You run until/unless the ump signals foul.
  13. Agreed. Be that as it may, I don't think he scores there; he has to start from a dead stop (he's not fast, either) and Watkins is gonna play it conservative and hold him up.
  14. Wallner should have already been on third
  15. Wrong, that ball had a good chance to be caught
  16. Wrong, The ball hit by Jeffers had a very good chance of being caught, runner goes part way as there is no advance if he catches it. Quit being angry and use some sense every once in awhile, not every play is wrong. Martin was, however, wrong on the Lee line drive
  17. Funderstruck!! Funderburk with a clean inning...
  18. Fast like race horse, smart like tractor...
  19. More importantly what was Martin thinking on Lee's liner...
  20. Barger letting that drop for a single has the Twins right where the Blue Jays want them, bases loaded and nobody out...
  21. The floodgates have opened for "The Mick"...
