    I decided it would be a good idea to combine alphabet soup with a laxative. I sold the idea to Campbell's and they're marketing it as "letter rip."

    Correct. In case of a lockout (presumably Dec 1), teams cant have any contact with any players on the 40 man MLB roster. That extends to any contact. Medical facilities and/or treatment, rehab, offseason workouts, contract negotiations, etc. That would extend to playing MiLB if it lasts tbat long. 40 man rosters will not be playing organized baseball come spring 2027 if there's a lockout (or strike) in effect.

    Postseason eligibility: https://www.mlb.com/glossary/transactions/postseason-roster-rules-eligibility Personally I'm focusing on the team being eligible for postseason play rather than any specific players, but to each their own.

    It certainly could. I don't see 10 gold gloves in his future however.

    I'd agree Keaschall needs to be in this lineup every day. But let's not small sample his production. He's got a. 740 OPS for the season. .767 career in almost 700 PAs. Couple that with truly substandard defense everywhere you put him, and I dont see him as someone that can't be upgraded.

    Teams can also add a player to replace a player on the 10 or 15 day IL for at least that many days, or the 60 day IL for at least that many days. For example, let's say the Twins make the postseason and Joe Ryan has remained on the IL the entire time, never activated. The Twins could add a player to the 40 man (and 26 man) postseason roster. This is sometimes called the KRod rule, after Angels added Francisco Rodriguez to their postseason roster in 2002.
