    Mebbe I'm just old school, but I think that's the primary difference between Santana and Gibson. Santana knows how to pitch, and in addition can put the ball where he wants it pretty often. He's fearless and throws enough strikes without grooving much. Gibson is the opposite of all those things, despite probably having better raw stuff. Over time, that manifests itself.
