  1. I think IndianaTwin's point needs to be re-emphasized: a team signing Hill is going to want at least one AAA start, probably more, before a big league start. What's the downside of 2 or 3 St Paul starts for Hill? If there's a later need, at least you have a option. And I'd be surprised if he's not better than Varland, BTW
  2. A 4 and 3 homestand feels like...such a letdown, somehow.
  3. You're WRONG!!1! EVERY single TIME!!!11! And your mother wears COMBAT BOOTS!!
  4. Do you really think that's fair, or accurate, Mike?
  5. "Reverse splits" was the storyline, I believe.
  6. Heh. Except for the dinger you mean, right?
  7. Maybe Cleveland was able to use Claase in FOUR consecutive save situations because they didn't send him out to "get some work" in the 7th Friday.
  8. Richards? OK. Rocco pretty much showed he didn't care about today when he sent Varland out for the 6th after tightrope walking without a net. Then don't burn Duran.
  9. Look, you can love everything Rocco. It's your right. But clown? That's OB. And I have every right to question very questionable managerial moves. And I literally quoted you.
  10. Hey look at that. We erased a runner. I'm impressed
  11. That was a perfect example of how hard it's going to be for Martin to have a productive MLB career. Just doesn't have any power whatsoever. He got his pitch, squared it up, pulled it perfectly...and drove it to the middle of the warning track. Coupled with no position, he's going to have a hard time being an asset.
  12. Right after burning Duran Riiiiight
  13. Richards seems to struggle with control juuuuuuust a bit.
  14. Heh. Yeah, the bad pitch is Jeffers fault
  15. I mean, 9-1-2 was due up, 3-1 game. I guess you can argue he wanted Duran to face the top of the order. I think it was stupid, but I guess there's an argument to be made. And Mike has every right to disagree.
  16. Why would you leave Varland in for the sixth, pretty clearly not trying to win, and then burn Duran in the 7th? Really?
  17. This administration doesn't consider stolen bases important. That's not in question.
  18. I would've pitched out on the 1st pitch
