  1. Boston "in the mix" for Paxson, per a Boston radio station. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/07/red-sox-trade-rumors-dodgers-james-paxton.html
  2. The Twins aren't giving up a piece off the MLB roster to add to the MLB roster.
  3. According to Phillies Daily*, Wheeler is expected to top out at 80-85 pitches tonight. Work some counts and get him out of the game early. Also, pitch your *** off, Simeon. Are we clear? Are we CLEAR?? *possibly not actual name of site
  4. You keep on using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. .
  5. Kudos, Mr Ober. Kudos. Really nice job and much needed.
  6. Kepler should've scored twice now
  7. I'm ok with this pitching change
  8. Bryce Harper hitting 3rd....Willi Castro hitting 3rd. Seems fair.
  9. Careful what you ask for. Day-Tway will be a load this weekend.
  10. The computer update has my sprll check on thee frittttz.
  11. Reading further into it, I believe the performance bonuses have also been paid. Something like ~$1.5M at this point
  12. Dunno. My private jet wasn't affected.
  13. We can send Thielbar even if we don't get Paxton.
  14. Concur, if true. I doubt anyone's taking on $4M. On the other hand, spotrac is generally pretty accurate. In any case, he pitched Sunday night so he's not an option for Wednesday. Edit: Rereading the MLBTR article, I don't think he's owed $13M in salary for 2024. Both the $3M signing and $2M roster bonuses have already been paid and aren't "salary." That leaves $7M in salary...the original $4M and another $3M in performancebonuses. About $2.5M remaining.
  15. So now you DON'T like fielding percentage? Your opinion seems to ... vary.
  16. There's no mention of any incentives at spotrac. $4M 2024 salary with a $3M signing bonus. Somebody will claim him, I doubt he gets released. Money is minimal.
