  1. 100 MPH! Which meant Witt could have jogged to second and first to complete the unassisted DP if he had so chosen.
  2. Most overrated player in Twins history?
  3. Someone remind me why this FO felt the need to add Mickey Gasper. Wait. Now I remember. Fits the "anybody can play anywhere" philosophy
  4. It's defense that sets them apart. ... No. No it's not. Never mind
  5. That a way, Alcala. Lead off walk.
  6. Game 10 and the game thread is as deserted as Target Field.
  7. Remember....strikeouts are the same as any other out.
  8. It was Martin Perez. No hit through six by Martin Perez should count for like 18 innings of an average lefty.
  9. This path of continually asking less and less of pitchers is monumentally stupid. Self-defeating. What is the point of pitchers who don't pitch? They're not avoiding injuries. That's indisputable.
  10. I don't think there is such a thing as a "disengagement" with no runners on base. https://www.mlb.com/glossary/rules/pitch-timer In this case, the bases were empty. SWR initially appeared to claim an issue with his pitchcom. But he then stepped back on the rubber and pitched. I'm not sure how this should have played out. I can't find an MLB rule explaing a pitcher/catcher's rights when claiming pitchcom issues. I don't know if the umpire is required to grant a time out. I also think SWR effed up by stepping back on the mound. But I don't know if that's a rule violation either.
  11. By way of comparison, Sal Perez caught his 7th of 10 Royals game tonight. Plus another 2 at 1st. Perez is a month shy of his 35th birthday.
  12. The KC manager has a 7th inning guy, an 8th inning guy, and a 9th inning guy. With a lead, he used them that way. How 'bout that?
  13. Holy cow, Vazquez. At least pretend like you've up to hit.
  14. The entire infield looks like they're playing in snowboots, including Correa. The range of a piano.
