I have to say that I don't understand all the whining. We didn't get a 24-year-old Sandy Koufax for Joe Schlabotnik. Let's get realistic about what we can get for what we are willing to give. If we give up Lewis or Kirilloff, then I understand the grief. We got a veteran relief pitcher who has been very effective this season for someone who is probably a marginal major leaguer at a highly replaceable position. And we got a pitching prospect who doesn't have to be protected on the 40-man roster for a couple more years. What's not to like?
