    If this is a HS game and I'm behind the plate, I'm watching this half inning develop with a sense of dread that the home team is going to somehow get enough runs to make me stay here another inning. It's not a fun feeling.

    Fun fact about Matthew LeCroy that they failed to mention -- he's the manager for the DOUBLE-A Nationals affiliate (c'mon Latroy) in my hometown of Harrisburg, PA. They entered the nite with the second-best winning percentage in ALL of baseball. Matt's doing something right on the Island.

    Gardy must have been annoyed that he had his afternoon bar-hopping interrupted by another game so he showed up to fill out a lineup, watch a half inning and then head back out into the Minneapolis nightlife.

    That's a really bad miss by the 1B umpire there. Not even close.

    He would have been out by 8 miles. The ball had already gotten into the 2nd baseman by the time Schoop got to 3rd. That ball got out there too quick and came off too hard to the RF for really anyone to have been able to score. I think even Bux gets thrown out at home, but with a closer throw.

    Yep...two different games. Maybe he can go for the doubleheader sweep.

    It might be nice if Baldelli would recognize better when it's time to change pitchers. So far, my biggest critique of him is leaving guys in a bit past their expiration date and then the results start turning sour.
