  1. It was also a 2-0 game. Why leave Gibby in during a blowout like this?
  2. Those of you wanting to see Moya, Curtiss, and Tonkin, this could be your opportunity tonight.
  3. He hit like Fidel when he came back....now he's back to Jason.
  4. For the most part, we left the bats at home during that road trip. Glad we found where we stored them.
  5. Another 30 HR season for Dozier. Guess we should have traded him.
  6. Damn, Hills has been pretty impressive in their long history (professional indoor soccer is still professional!!) http://s3.amazonaws.com/samexhibit/production/files/5920/4e9ec203901c20c86c5a205d2d69e40e3dd85b44.jpg?1367883672
  7. Let's hope that's because the Twins have 5-7 run leads in each game. Now is not the time to be resting your best pitchers....though, in the Twins bullpen, 'best' is a very loose term.
  8. I haven't paid any attention to what he's done since he left. I just know that when he was in Minnesota, I covered my eyes when he came into the game because he made every 9th inning interesting.
  9. Gotta love stealing one there. That derp by Escobar and Gordon was the difference in the game. If they come up with that one, I don't think the Twins even tie the game. Big-time character builder there and they win the game in hand that they had on the Angels. Got stuck with the Royals announcers for the 9th inning and they were yapping about the trades the Twins made at the deadline and that it would be unfortunate if the Twins "came up short because of one starter or not having a closer". I hate to break it to those wizards but no one is moping about not having a guy who has been very average for the Yankees and a guy who was just as accident-prone as the guy that is closing now.
  10. My other plan is to climb a tree and yell at the storm a la Lieutenant Dan. http://bravester.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/daring-God.jpg
  11. Currently watching forecasts and waiting for the bobble to the east that we got from Matthew last October. I was supposed to go to Chicago for work on Monday but that's not going to happen with the airport closing on Saturday evening. As of now, if the track stays the same, I'll probably drive to the panhandle Saturday night and wait on the storm to pass before driving back, assessing whatever damage there might be, and then deciding whether or not to fly out for the work trip on Wednesday. If the track remains the same, forecasts are for 80-90mph winds even in Orlando. This storm is no joke and I'm glad I'm not in South Florida or live on the coast. As for baseball this weekend, 3 out of 4 would be ideal in my mind. At least the Twins have their best 2 pitchers and Berrios going in this series (yes, I'm considering Gibson one of our best given his last month of work).
  12. A former Twin coming to plate with bases loaded. What could happen?
  13. Last I looked, the Rays are one sweep away from being right in the hunt.
  14. Yeah, you made that very clear yesterday.
  15. I'd settle for a balk if necessary.
  16. Kep got a bad break on that ball. He, like me, thought it was right to him off the bat and then someone stuck a pin in it and that one lost step was the difference.
  17. *waves from first row of RF bleachers* I promise not to commit any interference...unless Rosario's ball needs help getting into the seats. Been a while since I've been to the Trop. It's still a dump...but an air conditioned one!
  18. On the exchange....nothing to see here.
  19. At my job, on the day before a holiday, non-essential personnel get to go home after a half day. Twins bats must be the non-essential employees tonite.
  20. Back to the bullpen with ya, Dillon.
  21. WOW....A BIG OLD POLUNK-O!!! He was LOCKED IN on that pitch.
  22. Need to lower these fences a few inches.
