What are we thinking as far as Trevor May is concerned if he can come back at full strength? Starter or Pen? I think he's better off in the pen. I advocated a couple of years ago that he could be the middle guy in a 3-man rotation similar to what the Royals did in 2014 and 15 with their pen. As it is now, the Twins are going to need to find a closer unless they think that's Belisle's job long-term. I think you and I both know that's not terribly appetizing, even though Belisle has been decent since inheriting the role. Perhaps May could someday be a closer? Could Gee be a closer? Now, I'm saying this not knowing any contract situations and I'm not looking while the game is going on. But of the arms that we've seen throughout the season, this is who I would like to see in the pen next year: Belisle (if he's signed thru 18) Hildenberger (potential 7th inning guy in a 7-8-9 Royalsesque rotation) Rogers (I'm hot and cold with him but I think he'll get better) Busenitz (maybe he could be a closer sometime down the line with his heat?) May (depending on injury status) I'm not terribly interested in Pressly or Duffey coming back and there's not enough data on Curtiss or Moya as of yet.
