  1. Didn't get to third when Martin was in the run down, he gave up pretty early on even trying.
  2. Can someone teach Correa how to run bases, it ultimately didn't matter, but that is two nights in a row he has made a base running error.
  3. This was a bad base running blunder by Correa, there is no excuse from a leader of the team. He wasn't going to score from second on a base hit, so he needed to go only half way.
  4. Are you not including Buxton, Castro and others.
  5. Way to make up for the run you cost us Carlos.
  6. No he won't, Castro will move to second.
  7. And now we will get to see the great defense of Margot in LF.
  8. At least Margot won't be pinch hitting tonight. But why is he pinch running for Lee, he has no speed left.
  9. Maybe before he pops off about his teammates, Correa needs to clean up his game.
  10. I have no problem with the Irvin move, but I am not sure about bringing Topa back at this point in the season.
  11. The next desperation move, activate Topa when he hasn't pitched all year. So is he going to be used in high leverage in his first appearance. I hope I am wrong but I don't know how you can reasonably expect anything out of him at this point. And it's not like he has a stellar track record other than one good year. But at least Irvin is gone.
  12. My point is, his public comments seems like he is throwing players under the bus to a degree.
  13. We don't who they were talking about, but Rocco was pretty direct that there are players not executing the game plan for the day.
  14. Santana is leading the team with 22 HR and 65 RBi's, I don't think those numbers for a supposed contending team are anything to brag about. And he is second on the team in AB's with the next closest over 100 AB's less. Of course he is leading the team and we are about to be eliminated from the playoffs. Can we at least try for quality rather than average production. And Castro should be playing 3 to 4 days a week, he is being overvalued because he plays a lot of positions, his production has fallen off dramatically the second half of the season. A contending team should not have Willi Castro leading in AB's, oh wait maybe we aren't a contending team.
  15. Actually Lewis probably had some the best AB's on the team last night other than Correa. So I am not sure why he would be called out. Julien and Lee aren't even playing, so it would be interesting to know who he was referring to. And of course Rocco piled on because his coaching staff can do no wrong and it has to be the players. This is why Rocco is not a good manager for a younger team, he wants them to self police themselves and choose their pre game preparation. Younger players need some direction. And yes the players do have to take responsibility as well but at some point the coaching staff has to evaluate their approach if you aren't getting the desired results, that is management 101.
  16. What pitcher is hurt, that is the only way Alcala can be brought back up.
  17. Margot's effort on the flyball in the second inning was pathetic. You are playing for your season and he doesn't go max effort after it, he shouldn't play for the rest of the year for that. It was a catchable ball and helped change the tone of the game.
  18. That ball would have landed in front of Margot if he was still in the game.
  19. He has actually had better AB's tonight, going with the pitch more. Want more hits, but he hasn't been trying to pull everything.
  20. We sent Alcala down for this, he at least has better stuff.
  21. Every reliever we face Morneau makes them sound like they are all the next Mariano Rivera. Other teams are hitting these guys, maybe not all the Cleveland pitchers but come on quit making excuses. Yes pitchers have more movement but batters are also seeing it more and adjusting to it. Morneau makes it sound like the batters don't even have a chance against every pitcher.
  22. Yes let's resign Santana, he has been so clutch this month.
  23. Margot cost us at least three runs and he was supposed to be the backup in CF. This front office can not identify talent at all.
  24. No rush on that one Margot, take your time, it's not like we are playing for the playoffs.
