    What is the status of Culpepper, we really need him up here, it has turned midnight for Kreidler.

    I am assuming Fedko goes down on Tuesday for Jeffers. If you aren't going to play him against a LH, why was he even added to the 40 man roster. This is just another of many head scratching moves by this team over the past 6 years or more.

    But it should be worth it to watch Ryan Kreidler.

    And so Martin and Keaschall are no longer in the picture. And is Shelton going to be more flexible with his lineups to get everybody AB's. Also do we continue to keep platooning. And if Jenkins shows he is ready are you really going to hold him back. And no I don't care about 2027 or service time if he is ready he should be up here. And how many AB's do you consider a long enough look. The point is there are a lot of considerations and that is not even considering the RH batters that could be ready by next year.

    First you are seriously going to compare someone who has played 20 games at a position to one who has played over 900 games at the same position. The irrational dislike for Lewis on this board is really getting to be something. He was moved to a new position mid-season without complaint which many have said he wouldn't do and has actually looked pretty good over there. The big things he needs is time and reps over there. Right now there is no question who should be there defensively.

    Have you seen Bell play in the field. There is a reason they won't let him pick up a glove. He is an absolute butcher there and can't throw.

    They cleared 2B when they moved Keaschall. Clemens is a placeholder, he needs to be in a utility role if they hang onto him.

    How do you give them all a chance and look at them when they are all basically on the same development timeline. Only a couple will get a real look and we better hope they choose the correct ones to give a look to.

    And the same people that helped with the self-scouting are still advising and making the decisions. Nothing will change until Zoll is gone and they bring in new leadership.

    His defense will be fine but offensively he is coming back to earth. This was to be expected if he plays every day, he will be exposed. Still the best option at SS until Culpepper is ready.

    I agree if you look at his OPS over the last few weeks when he has gotten regular playing time it has been going steadily down. I think he has shown he can be a quality utility player with spot playing time to help him be successful.

    In the minor leagues he has been averaging right around 5 innings a game. Hopefully we can knock him out early today.

    Hopefully he improves on his 7 k's over the last four games or we may see Culpepper sooner than later.

    It looks like the Yankees pitcher was a starter in the minor leagues so it may not be a bullpen game for them. And the way we let new pitchers off the hook he could easily go six.

    This is the point, they already had a number of LH hitting corner outfielders they needed to look at and also added one more at the deadline prior to this trade. Why would you add another to this mix. If you are going to make this move at least try and get someone that is either a proven player or for a position that you need like maybe a RH hitting outfielder which was probably more of a need at the time.

    I don't think we will know who the preferred shortstop is until Buxton comes back. Kreidler started a string of games and then sat for two. This is an organizational decision to say he is needed in CF, there are other options within the organization. If they don't trust Fedko he shouldn't be on the roster. Why not swap him with Roden. Supposedly when they traded for him, one reason was he could cover CF at least as a fill in if needed. So to say Kreidler is needed in CF is letting this organization off the hook. And it has made the defense weaker overall especially up the middle. Kriedler is average defensively in CF, numerous shallow fly balls have been misplayed and he is the quarterback out there who should be cleaning that up. His routes are becoming an adventure and that is going to cost him at some point especially in the spacious outfield of Yankee stadium.

    The Twins have chosen Gray all season long over Kreidler, we don't know who would be playing short if Buxton was in the lineup. They played Kreidler 4 games in a row then gave Gray the next two before Buxton got hurt. They are obsessed with Gray and the only reason I can see is he is a LH bat, that seems to be more important than defense. Or even if you can hit.

    There has been no change in the front office, it is the same people with the only change being who makes the final call. Until Pohlad gets rid of Zoll and overhauls the front office nothing will change. Zoll comes more from the analytics side, they have no balance between scouting and analytics. They reduced the scouting staff last year and still haven't replaced them.

    Some of the comments on Lewis have been over the top and not in fun in my opinion.

    Now it is time to roast Gray for looking at that strike three.

    LIke I have said many times, if he would have given the cliche answers he would have been roasted for that as well. Yes I wish he wouldn't have made some of the comments he has, but people are way over the top on their reaction.

    if that is truly the case, then Zoll needs to be gone tomorrow. He sets the roster and if he is making this decision or letting Shelton it shows he is over his head.

    Yes, a 279 batting average in June is not enough, I get he has to hit .400 to make everyone happy.

    It's more about the waste of a roster spot. Especially when you have an outfielder out for a week and you keep sitting a player who happens to play that position in place of an infielder playing out there.
