    First, Jenkins has a lot more potential to provide a boost and we know Gray won't. And Fedko would only sit because Shelton would not use him. As it is, Gray should probably get the Fedko treatment and sit as well for 12 games without an AB. But then why was he brought up. And no I don't want him pinch hitting for Kreidler just because he hits from the left side.

    So we have a ton of crappy at bats and you decide to single out Lewis, really makes no sense.

    That was a great play by Keaschall to back up Roden to keep Tolbert at second, Roden needs to take notes.

    It will be based on selected items that generate revenue, that is already one thing they are disagreeing about.. Wouldn't have to fully open the books for that.

    Agree, we may lose a few games, but once checks start getting missed it will be amazing how fast they will get serious about an agreement.

    They called up Gray, there are better options in St. Paul, that is not even arguable.

    I hear what you are saying, but if that is the reasoning, to me it is very weak. They have a guy down there who plays CF, instead we are trying to get Keaschall to learn on the fly. Are they contenders or not.

    We know you hate every player in the minor leagues, you don't need to keep telling us.

    After calling up Gray I have no faith in anything they do at this point

    Culpepper has only been back for 4 games after essentially being out a month and a half. I wouldn't call it a slump when he just got off the IL.

    After 11 games, let's temper expectations. He has made some good plays out there using his speed and athleticism.

    Well it would be nice if their actions would reflect that.

    They have to give time for Jeffers to get up to speed after being on the IL, I mean it's not like we are playing for anything currently.

    Well since Clemens is standing on second, I am not sure why he would do that. Say I hate Lewis without saying it.

    Roden is above average defensively.

    Keaschall has played all of 11 games in CF and 15 in RF. This is what happens when you play musical chairs with defensive positions, you have to live with the learning curve. And Roden is not young anymore and is who everyone wants in RF.

    There are at least 5 guys down there that deserve a shot more than Gray and could actually help the team. But they decided to take the safe route which is not how you win championships.

    It was hit medium deep and he had to go to his left. He could have been more aggressive, same as last on Perez's single.

    Roden looked like he was on skates, making it easier for him to go.

    You might miss Gray as a defensive replacement, we will have to send you screen shots.

    We always quote stats and I get that to some degree. But then what is the magic number that they are supposed to be at to be called up. From some of the reports I have seen about Jenkins, many are saying he is ready. He may not hit for a lot of home runs initially but should have doubles power. His approach at the plate should translate at this level as well. You need a shot in the arm with Buxton going down, why not call up your top prospect when he is this close. You don't say one day we are in buy mode, then bring Gray up the next day. As for infielders, they love moving people around and both Martin and Keaschall can play the infield as well.
