  1. If we only had a hitter or two down in St. Paul that could help this team.
  2. It was hit medium deep and he had to go to his left. He could have been more aggressive, same as last on Perez's single.
  3. Roden looked like he was on skates, making it easier for him to go.
  4. You might miss Gray as a defensive replacement, we will have to send you screen shots.
  5. We always quote stats and I get that to some degree. But then what is the magic number that they are supposed to be at to be called up. From some of the reports I have seen about Jenkins, many are saying he is ready. He may not hit for a lot of home runs initially but should have doubles power. His approach at the plate should translate at this level as well. You need a shot in the arm with Buxton going down, why not call up your top prospect when he is this close. You don't say one day we are in buy mode, then bring Gray up the next day. As for infielders, they love moving people around and both Martin and Keaschall can play the infield as well.
  6. Ted @tlschwerz · 3h Jeremy Zoll told reporters yesterday to expect a lengthy stay in @MightyMussels from Emmanuel Rodriguez as he needs to get back up to game speed.
  7. Buxton's got some time on his hands, maybe send him down there to have a chat with Emma.
  8. If there was any doubt about the influence of the analytics staff on this organization, I think this move can put those doubts to rest.
  9. If there was any doubt about the influence of the analytics staff on this organization, I think this move can put those doubts to rest.
  10. Zoll did say it was going to be a lengthy rehab though, so I am not sure we will see him this year.
  11. That ship has definitely sailed, he better be with a new organization by next week for his sake if nothing else.
  12. Anyone can stand at any spot in the field just like in Little League.
  13. You can't trade Caratini, he can play 1B. A requirement for any position player on the Twins is that they can at least stand at 2 or more positions.
  14. I agree about Culpepper. But Zoll saying last night he was in buy mode, then he makes this move. How much more contradictory can he be.
  15. I would love for someone on here try to seriously defend this move. Gray isn't even a major league caliber player, that has been established.
  16. Didn't make it from Omaha in time, I'm guessing or else he would be.
  17. It is so hard to get excited about this team when they make a move like this. Tell me one thing that Gray does to help this team. And if it is because LH, I don't care. If they try to put him at SS and Kreidler in CF against RH pitching, you better keep the remote away from me because it may go thru the tv.. Kreidler is someone who can play CF when you are playing musical chairs at the end of the game. How many shallow fly balls dropped in when he was in CF due to him not taking control. And there were almost a couple of collisions as well.
  18. It was reported he got an injection today. I am guessing he is down at least a couple of days.
  19. Yes teams are lining up to include Gray in a trade and steal him from us.
  20. I see Gray got pulled early from the Saints game, I really hope they aren't call him up. Has anyone heard anything specific about why he was pulled.
  21. That's assuming we would get the best prospects, you are expecting a lot of Zoll.
  22. If they say they are buyers this year and are trying to win, then you put the best 26 players on your roster. The Orioles were out of it last year, so that was a different situation. To gamble on a potential extra pick in 28 that may or may not still happen is a poor gamble if you truly are trying to win. Roden is not a replacement for Buxton, Jenkins needs to be up here if Buxton goes on the IL. Then you have a true back up in CF other than Kreidler or Clemens.
  23. If Roden is the defensive player many claim he is, that ball should have been caught. Keaschall was over there too but looked to give way to Roden correctly.
