    This team doesn't value the bunt as a team so they don't work on it in the minor leagues or in the major leagues. Analytics does not value the bunt, but teams like Milwaukee will still do it and use analytics. It is possible to do both.

    What are we doing at the plate, Mahle has thrown 40 pitches in the last 5 innings, has anyone heard of making an adjustment.

    I look at his history with Baltimore he was a #4 at best, probably #5. Pete Maki is not some pitching whisperer, this was a good trade for depth for this year. But I need to see a lot more than 3 starts especially when he started to blow up in the sixth in one of them. This is a similar take to Alex Jackson will be claimed 100% fact.

    We need innings from Zebby tonight, you can't keep running the bullpen out there for 4 innings every game. Have someone loose, but manage this game not the previous games. Shelty has actually done a pretty good job with the bullpen this year until the last few games.

    The pitch was almost down the middle, a little low but in the strike zone. I just want them to make Mahle work.

    The Twins are seeing how fast they can complete the game, maybe they think there won't be enough time for Atlanta to catch up.

    I hope you are right but I have lost all faith in this front office. Remember the catcher they drafted in the second round doesn't fit this mold. But is this the exception or the rule going forward we will see.

    What are the Braves doing, they are using a catcher as their DH without a 3rd catcher on the bench, they are so reckless.

    Pretty simple ERod or Jenkins because one of them should be on the roster and not the anchor Alex Jackson.

    Kreidler should be thankful he is even in the major leagues and needs to stay in the IF, he is not an outfielder.

    Yes he has options and I am fine with him as organizational filler, I think that is the best role for him.

    He cleared waivers and it was the second time this year that he has cleared. But the Twins are smarter than every other organization in baseball, the ghost of Falvey lives on.

    They start the series on Thursday, so he could start either day.

    My wife liked the move because this is the move that now has me seriously considering not renewing my season ticket package. I have always had it because I enjoy baseball, but this front office is sucking out all of the joy of watching them. Shelty has the team at least playing a more enjoyable brand of ball this year but this move could be the straw that broke the camel's back.

    They pushed him to Friday, so they appear to be trying to give him some extra time between starts.

    We have outfielders coming up that have more upside, he is going to be 27 before next season and he has yet to take advantage of opportunities he has been given the last two years. We have an abundance of corner outfielders and need to move some and Roden should be one. I am concerned the only reason he is getting a chance is because he was traded for and they are falling into the sunk cost fallacy like they always do.

    If only we had a real CF to play there when Buxton needs the day off, I wonder if that should be Jackson's role.

    Roden needs to earn the 4th outfielder job in spring training. I still am not sure why he is up here.

    To me Zoll is just the start. I want someone in there who can evaluate talent on the field not just on a spreadsheet. They then need to determine who stays and who doesn't based on a review of the whole operation.

    You can move Clemens down in the order as well, I am not sure why he is hitting in front of Lewis.

    The moves with Gray and Jackson are neither for rebuilding or competitive, that's the problem. And it shows how there is no change, they value the fringe players or over their own prospects. Gray has no business being on a major league roster and shouldn't be recalled. The only role Jackson should have is backup catcher and that role is currently being filled by Caratini. They are making these moves because they think it makes them competitive. I don't know what more evidence Tom P. needs but Zoll should be fired today, not the end of the season.
