  1. White Sox may need a few new relievers tomorrow
  2. Fantastic bounce back inning...do we send him for the 5th?
  3. White Sox's defense looks the same as last year
  4. Pretty productive inning from Thielbar. I do like him more than Thorpe as a LOOGY, but that is pretty much non-existent anymore. Wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the 3 taxi-squad guys
  5. Have we seen a confirmed list of who the 33 players are on the trip? Also, does Thielbar pitching here mean he is on the roster, or could he be part of the 3 man taxi squad?
  6. Maples looks like a guy from my high school team from back in the day. Threw hard, had movement, and didn't have a damn clue where it was going
  7. I do wonder this, didn't seem like we saw much of the splitter, and saw a lot of trying to work the fastball up. I'll take it as a grain of salt personally.
  8. Being a prominent baseball player does NOT mean that he has to be into politics or have a social stance on issues, no matter how big or small they are. He is a German American baseball player, and not even 30 years old. I know plenty of men less than 30 that don't care about politics. Just because Kepler is a baseball player doesn't mean he is forced to unite the city. That is why we have a vote, to vote for the people who we want to have a say. Kepler is here because of his talents on the field, not because he is the answer to deep rooted issues.
  9. The issue with the article is making a big deal of Max wearing a police mask. So what if he wears a police mask? It does not mean, in any world, mean that he was supporting what Derek Chauvin did and the article + others comments seem to make it seem like he is supporting that by supporting police. You're allowed to support both police and the protestors. America would be a dumpster fire without police force as we have seen in other countries. It doesn't mean that the police are perfect, because they are far from it. However, it isn't Max Kepler's job, or any other athlete for that matter, to speak up and make some sort of politically correct statement. He is in the spotlight because he is a baseball player, not because he is supposed to solve deep rooted issues in America. Stop trying to make him what he isn't.
  10. Okay, but when did him supporting police turn in to supporting Derek Chauvin? It didn't. The article is out of context. It doesn't mean that he is all of a sudden supporting killing POC because he wore a police mask. Again, it is possible to support both sides. Without police we would not have a functioning society, as seen the last few days.
