  1. CLE dugout certainly acting like Bieber is done, which is the best news all night.
  2. Buxton is one of the few Twins with a hit tonight, and hit the ball hard his first at bat foul. I understand this is a frustrating game, but baseball isn't a sport where hot takes are usually accurate.
  3. Normally something you can allow guys to play through (and I think it still is the case right now), but we are 10% done with the season tonight.
  4. Very heads up play right there from Arraez letting that ball drop right before the bag to turn 2
  5. He's at 90 pitches, threw 97 in his first outing. Maybe they give him a chance in the 8th, but I would be surprised if he goes deeper than 105
  6. Well, at least Bieber won't be able to complete the entire game.
  7. Yep. I'm betting on them to get out of the 1st round, maybe more confident than any other team in the entire league.
  8. Wasn't pretty at all, but those were 2 huge innings by Littell to keep this one at a 2 score game. Seems as if Rocco is fine throwing the front end of the bullpen with Bieber on the bump for Cleveland, and whatever happens happens. It makes sense, but no guarantee we aren't in the same situation tomorrow
  9. The offspeed pitch isn't around the zone at all
  10. I had fairly high goals for Littell coming into the year, but his first outing, coupled with this one, have not been promising.
  11. Leaving Littell out there to get through 9-1-2 is certainly interesting, but it would be huge if he can get through it.
  12. Donaldson has looked clueless against breaking balls all season
  13. Sano finally makes contact and does that :/
  14. HUGE play there by Littell to not panic. Come on bats!!!
  15. This ump is guessing on all 4 edges of the zone
  16. First time Sano has looked lost at 1st base...and yikes
  17. Buxton and Sano are understandable at least. Neither have had a ton of PT to ramp up. Garver has had just as long as everyone else. I expected some negative regression from him, but I hope (and think) he is better than this
  18. There is Berrios night. Labored too often and made a mistake on an 0-2 pitch to one of the few guys on the opposing lineup you can't afford to. Looked better than he did in Chicago, but still a bit to go. Bullpen is going to have to stay hot to keep us in this one. Would think someone may give us 2 innings of work.
  19. Especially when the other guy isn't even at 50
  20. Buxton's at bat was actually one of the better ones of the night, imo.
  21. Much better inning there from Berrios. I would imagine the cap is around 85-90 pitches. Should allow him to get through the 5th.
