  1. Surprised we didn't see the start time to this one moved up with the weather. I am guessing they only get game one in looking at the radar
  2. Kevin Pillar is a free agent this upcoming winter, and would love to see the Twins sign him to a 1 year deal around 6-8 million dollars to serve as CF insurance, as well as a platoon for LF
  3. TWINS WIN!!! The B lineup comes through exactly when we needed them to, and the defense was good from Cave's catch, to Wade's scoop at 1st (!!) base. Pineda looked like he did through the majority of last year, and Stashak picked up right where he left off. The most encouraging sign may be Rogers, who struck out the side in order. Let's play two tomorrow!! Go Twins!!!
  4. Really surprised that this game hasn't been delayed/called yet. The field does not look great
  5. About the best outing you could ask from Pineda in his second start of the year. Racked up swings and misses on his slider, and didn't really allow anything to be hit hard. He is the third starter in the playoffs for this team, and it really isn't close.
  6. Big Mike through 6 really good innings
  7. Jake Cave, certified foul ball robber
  8. JEFFERS AGAIN!!! Jeffers is a future AS catcher, I think
  9. EDDIE!!!! Also....Eddie.....sigh
  10. Good first from Big Mike
  11. Trevor May and homers....a combination like PB & J
  12. Wouldn't be a Twins game without a boneheaded base running play
  13. Twins win!!! Maeda was really good once again, and the bats came alive late when they needed to. Not encouraging against a left hander, but they pounced when they had the chance. Sano was really good, and Buxton beat out a single that only a handful of players can beat out. 3 of 5, and need at least one more. Until tomorrow, Go Twins!!!
  14. Reducing his K% by 20% would put it around 16% That is quite a bit below the league average of 23%...I don't think that is happening. However, if he can lower it by 6-8%, which is doable I think, it would be a massive improvement
  15. This one is getting away, quickly. Have to keep this one 3 runs or under
