  1. Did Herrmann go on that one?
  2. Are the official scorers in Cleveland the same people making roster moves for the Twins? I thought Santana should have had a hit at the start of the inning, and not giving Cabrera an error there is inconceivable.
  3. Well, at least we have Dozier
  4. A 25 year old with a 3.68 ERA and 19 Ks in 14 IP or a 35 year old who picks up Gardy's kids from school? Seems like an easy choice.
  5. Ehhh, not a fan of this Tonkin guy. Lets send him down to make room for Eddie Guardado.
  6. C'mon Escobar! A real center fielder would've had that one.
  7. Bremer seems to almost get it, Bremer for GM!
  8. Bilateral back weakness
  9. I think he was saying he's already done about as much as Hicks did the entire year last year.
  10. That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm not sure how much longer Slegers will be in CR and Landa seems like the logical replacement in the rotation.
  11. Throw in a double now. His OPS is sitting at 1.014. 12 runs and 15 hits through four innings for Rochester but Meyer is struggling a bit.
  12. Every. Single. Time. At least he's finally figured out Colabello. I don't how much more "Callabella" I could take.
  13. Landa has been pitching much better lately and he got his third win of the season tonight. The most encouraging thing for me is that he only has 2 BBs in his last 9 innings of work. Control is the big issue with him and if he continue to throw strikes he's going to be very successful in Cedar Rapids. His stuff is still nasty and he has 13 Ks in his last 8 innings. His last four outings have all been 2 innings so they seem to be using him in a long-relief role which makes sense considering his history of starting. Landa's numbers to date- 7 G, 12 IP, 3-0 W-L, 3.75 ERA, 17 K, 6 BB
  14. What is this guy hitting with RISP? My goodness.
  15. You kidding me? http://cdn.unathleticmag.com/wp-content/uploads/A3920.jpg
  16. Got his second win of the season on Friday in somewhat fluky fashion. He allowed three earned runs on two hits and three walks in just one inning but the Kernels scored 4 in the top of the 9th to get him the win. A much cleaner effort on Sunday though; 1 inning pitched with a hit, a strikeout and no earned runs.
  17. Bad news- We have one guy hitting under .100 and his name is Pedro Florimon
  18. Good play to cut it off, terrible relay
  19. Nice play there by Plouffe
  20. Anyone think Phil is going to pitch a complete game today? He's on pace to throw 252 pitches in 9 innings.
  21. Bravo Trevor, very encouraging!
