    I was in Chicago all of last weekend so this will be the first time I can sit down and watch Sano. Wouldn't be a bad night for career homer #1 of 800.

    He can fill a huge hole and help the team right now as a reliever, not as a starter. The big league team getting wins is the point, after all.

    Buuut Brandon Peterson has just kept on rolling into AA and JT Chargois has been a pleasant surprise. Peterson has to be one of the most underrated Twins prospects.

    What has Jorge Polanco done to prove that he is MLB ready? He has a .745 OPS in AA to go along with below average SS defense. He might be a better option than Santana, because Santana has been the worst player in the majors this year, but I'd be much more comfortable with Escobar there than Polanco. For the record, I agree that Sano, Kepler, and Berrios, deserve to be promoted but I don't see it with Polanco.

    On the retired numbers topic, I'm leaning towards no with Torii and Johan. Mauer is a lock. Anyone think Morneau has a chance?

    Meneses at 1B is pretty odd. Has anyone heard what DJ Hicks' situation is/when he'll be back?

    Except that's not what Mark Reynolds is. Reynolds has hit .230 with a .324 OBP in his career.

    He sprained it during his stolen base attempt on Tuesday, which shouldn't be too surprising if you saw how ugly that slide was. Apparently Molly said he would be out at least a month.
