I'm starting to worry about Buxton's ability to develop the ever-important sixth tool, the bunt tool.

Nothing says "committed to rebuilding" like bringing in a 42 year old. Why in the world would they do that?

I think Park has won himself a roster spot.

    You win.

I'd hesitate to call a team that features Buxton, Sano, Kepler, Polanco, Dozier, Park etc. unwatchable. That pitching staff though.....yuck. Give me Chargois in there at the very least.

I'd like to see more from a healthy Park, personally.

I was there, good stuff today. I'd definitely do it again next year.

The Twins have finished 16th, 12th, and 7th in the majors in runs scored over the past three seasons. Their offense has not been a problem.

ITT: A lot of people overrating Brian Dozier and underrating Adam Eaton. I'd be very happy with a Bellinger and De Leon haul.

Polanco is still not a shortstop.

Do you think Kerry Wood and Max Scherzer pop a bottle of champagne each night when the pitcher facing the Twins doesn't break the single-game strikeout record? They better be on high alert tonight.

I think the Gordon hate has something to do with him always trying to hammer home that Polanco is the SS of the future.

I think .250/.310/.450 is a realistic expectation for next year, which I'd be very happy with.

Nice video of his standup triple to left center last night: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/73955164/v1196109683/minkc-buxton-reaches-214-mph-on-standup-triple/?game_pk=449249

Suzuki pinch-hitting for the first baseman. Is Vargas hurt? What is going on here?
  20. John Kelsey
Wouldn't want to let the kid work out of a jam in a totally meaningless game.

Walker and Palka would just be rotting on the bench they said, there aren't enough at-bats to go around they said...
  22. John Kelsey
Schafer hitting fifth. Molitor really knows how to bum me out.
  23. John Kelsey
Johan was the last truly exciting pitcher to watch, Berrios kind of is, but in a nervous excitement sort of way.

I should note, I didn't start this thread to discuss his results and whether they are sustainable as that has been beaten to death and I think it's hard for us to know at this point.
