I don't know... I'm too lazy to mute people... It has occasionally lead to awkward exchanges, but the way i am, even the best of times i stumble upon those. Sadly i'm also too lazy to fully engage in these threads as i used to occaisonally.

Ya know, it occurs to me i keep asking what i missed when returning to the game thread... Maybe i should be answering that. I lost internet (and mlb radio) while driving just after they went up 3-1. So i missed Clemens tying the game, and us eventually letting a manfred man score. Sure, i'd like to have won, but this is the next best thing, losing to a rule imposed to reduce the number of marathon extra inning events. Somehow it reminds me of Col. Fairfax's monologue before "is life a boon"... if anyone cares about theater more than a century old...

I am guilty of only a passing familiarity with Holmes, but i have fond memories of my father chuckling as he read Brigadier Gerard stories, until finally mom had him read alloud what was so funny. That was on vacation in a rental cabin near Brainerd.
