    I missed me a good thread of the game, eh? Leastwise i get my oar in before it is archived... I did not know springs needed training. but i guess they do? Having less time to do its thing the closer to the pole, so it uses the equatorial climes to warm up? Oh, and offseason workouts in the other hemisphere? Novel concept. Thanks! Anyway, sorry i missed the game and resultant thread. I was driving at the time, and thought it prudent to keep my eyes on the road and my hands upon the wheel...

    Six more weeks of spring training, i think. Give or take a few days. But i wasn't actually sure it was my shadow. It could be somebody else's... I wonder if they want it back? Oh, and what's this new sheriff's take on double negativity? Anyway, good to hear fromy'all!

    Yeah, if was going to make a bold prediction regarding the post season, i would have predicted that a blue team would win... I might have waited until the Astros lost just to be sure though. Is the second picture one of them funky suspension bridges?

    Yes! (er, true as it may be, that just dodges the question...) If i went to the effort of obtaining tickets, i'd be hoping it came back, as that means i'm invested in the game, if that makes sense. But neither would i beat myself up over it. To go for another poser, um, if you only watch 3 innings of a game... which ones?

    I coulda paid closer attention. I actually was driving through the wee hours of the morning, and gave up trying to find new radio stations as the distant ones i found were consumed by static or competing signals... Yeah, seems i missed a good one... Think i'm gonna try paying attention tonight, but i'm having a hard time without 5 things to think about...

    I guess i woulda thought they could show an explicit bias for the Jays in Canada... On the other hand, are there any other broadcasters calling this game, besides the ESPN? They usually give, i mean sell, a specific post season game to one network. I always kinda wanted there to be a "wizard people, dear reader" calling of games available. Though i suppose it could easily get tiresome.

    Yeah, that's unfortunate. I'm sure there will be more discussion tomorrow when it's more on topic? Meh, and i think i understand the anti-Yankee sentiment. I guess i'm just glad they aren't the powerhouse they've been in the past. I suppose it is more enjoyable to pick sides. I got a funny taste from some of the Houston draft pick debacles, but think i can let that slide. They are a bit of an underdog, so i'll be happy to root mildly for 'em. They got a 1-0 lead... Which team has the most ex-Twins? Toronto?

    I predict... There will be commercials every half inning. And pitching change. Not inclined to stray far from the trunk with my prognostication. Nor do i have a quarter in this tiddlywinks match neither, but watching might pass the time... And chatting about it might be worth the effort. At least i'm willing to give it a try.
