"YankeesSuck" for me would be against the rule regarding pets. It is a (mild) pet peeve of mine that Red Sox fans sell and wear shirts that say that independent of who they're actually playing... And there have been players i root for on the Yankees. Doug Mientkiewicz comes to mind. Didn't like when he got injured. I could also root for Garret Jones, though perhaps less so tonight.

Hope this doesn't count as a jinx or anything... For some reason it reminds me of a Victor Buono poem (which i suppose would have been slightly more on topic in the bay area) Once i turned a somersault quite near the San Andreas fault. Later as i nursed my knee, A telegram arrived for me. The message said "Cool it, Victor!" The signature read, "Dr. Richter." (mind, this was from a record (an LP, no less) of him reciting, so the line returns were my insertion, and done by memory, so i might not quite be verbatim) Anyway, i also thought it could be something "victor-y" for glunn to cheer for? Only 3 and half hours to wait...

I know this one! (or if i don't, at least it gives me a dumb idea should anyone be foolish enough to ask me to plan their wedding... including me) New year's eve wedding, consummated (if that's the right word) on a time zone line. But yeah... i imagine there's only one date allowed on the license, and that goes to the census... Drat, i thought i had it there... Anyway, yeah... Baseball. Still 7 hours to go... Maple syrup idea shows real promise. Too lazy to deal with coffee. There were plenty o' other good ideas (especially more ice cream and floats) Personally i'm a sucker for caramel/butterscotch, though i think i'm out, which is why i was askin'... Never could figured out what distinguished sprinkles from jimmies, and i'm not sure i have either either... Sorry i nodded off for a moment. The grand slam jarred me awake briefly, though it took me a while to realize the bases were loaded. Thanks all!
