    Soto? He's missed the entire year and is a HS kid still at this point. They aren't putting all the rest of the starters in the bullpen, you need 2-3 in waiting. Plus, they see more value of starters so they'll wait to convert others. Go look at the free agent list, and ask yourself who they would sign. They aren't signing a CF, 3b, SS, 2b. What corner OF that is good will sign for one year, given they have five or six OF in the majors, AAA and AA? That leaves first and catcher.......

    Sure. 100 percent. My point was to stop reading press, stop watching interviews. People here complain non stop about the words, stop listening. There are other ways to spend your time.

    I suggest never listening to owners, GMs, or coaches. Just watch the game or not. Like, it annoys almost all of you to listen, why keep listening? Life is too short .

    It's pretty clear they don't believe in McCusker at this point. I guess they could try outman, sure. I'd call up the younger guy, but it doesn't matter. They'll just play shorthanded.

    I'm not sure that's true of the top guys near AAA, who have been healthy. I know we've read that, but when I look at the reports, I don't see that for the guys we believe in. I could be wrong.... But I don't think Abel, Bradley, Raya lately, Morris are doing that. Look, I want them fired, but I'm not sure all the narrative here is accurate.

    Plus Rocco and the Twins did him so much disservice that he got a huge payday...... This idea that they ruined him or used him wrong is urban myth, or just out and out lying.....

    Then keep him. Outman is 28......and can't even make this roster.

    I mean, looking at the FA list, it's hard to see how they spend their way into a much better team. They aren't signing a long term SS or OF, given their prospects. They aren't signing a 3B or 2B given Lewis and Keaschell. That really leaves 1B and C.....go look at those options!

    Agreed, but unless they are promoting Fedko, you keep running him out there to make sure if he's in AAA or the majors to start next year. Great trade!

    IF they deal Ryan, I want either an elite C who is in AA or AAA, or an elite OF, or an elite SP in AA or AAA. And then I want two more of those. You can't deal him for less than 3 top 100 prospects, at least one of which needs to be top 20 or so (or two top 50).

    The farm system lacks huge upside players, outside Jenkins and maybe Tait (in A ball.....) and a never healthy EROD. They are highly ranked because they have SO MANY decent to good prospects. But, I agree! Baldelli does not seem to be the guy to develop players. I could be wrong, but that's how it looks from here.

    If you are losing 80 million a year, you'd be happy to unload the team for nothing...... There is no chance they are losing that much. Unless he's playing himself like. 150 million a year. Typical third generation billionaire. A failure at every business he's run.
