  1. You could have, but you used that nice language instead
  2. Arraez might be the most intense hitter in the box I’ve ever seen
  3. I found a gif of both teams scoring on a home run here. That’s all I got.
  4. The Twins must be reading your posts in the dugout
  5. Unlike last night, I’m assuming that was a home run in precisely 1 park(s)
  6. Yesterday was the first time since August 11 that the Twins have lost a game on the same day Cleveland won. Despite the hiccup last night, the Twins are still taking care of business.
  7. Francona: “he’s our closer, dammit” ... *spits tobacco* Like I have said, give me Rocco 6 days a week. Maybe that seventh day Francona wins on pure old-school-ness, but those other six days I’ll take the new guy, thankyouverymuch
  8. It was fairly deep. Not to excuse Rosario, but I feel Betts made a heads-up play.
  9. As good as the Twins are, I don’t think they have a player as good as Betts
  10. Welp, he wasn’t hit hard late, and he was reaching 93-94 I’d still give him a 10-day breather
  11. If the scores hold up, it will be the first time since Aug. 11 that the Twins have lost on the same day Cleveland has won. August 11 was the series finale the last time the two teams played each other.
  12. and that’s about how I would describe that plate appearance.
  13. Should be doable to skip a Berrios start. Some 5.5 game leads have been made up in September, but Cleveland looks shaky.
  14. I’d only say: hitters are probably better today. 7-man rotations and I’m outta here before you can say “eighth day of rest”
  15. Sure, by pitch count. Maybe people are thinking more of the throwing work every 5 day cycle and the mental preparation and such.
  16. Maybe not a few weeks but otherwise I can’t disagree. Berríos, seems to me, is also the type of personality to either pitch through an injury or angrily refuse an offer of a 10-day DL to heal back up to 100% for something. (Or whatever percent% pitchers are pitching at, this time of year.)
