    Did they really extend gardy?
  2. Marta Shearing
Both of you are reported. Just kidding.
  3. Marta Shearing
Honestly. Is that even possible? Our calculations must be off. 2-19 in his last 21 playoff games. In the history of the game, is there any managerial stat of futility that even compares to that?
  4. Marta Shearing
Hilarious, but its true. 2-19 in his last 21 playoff games. What manager keeps his job after that? Should have canned him in 2010.
  5. Marta Shearing
Besides, if they sign an outfielder, how's Gardy gonna find atbats for Doumit in RF?
  6. Marta Shearing
I like your plan, but I dont think Ryan has the creativity to carry out something like that. He just doesnt have that ability.

The crazy thing is that pelfrey's gonna take the best offer he can get, and Ryan will probably even get outbid for pelfrey.
  8. Marta Shearing
Would they actually sink to that level of insulting their fans by putting duensing back in the rotation?

From 2008-2010 I was part of a huge season ticket group. We had 4 premium seats. Got together every february and drank beer and picked our games. Good times. I dropped out after they embarrassed themselves AGAIN in the playoffs. Just found out yesterday the group is no more. Everybody dropped out. Kind of sad.

Just sickening listening to this guy.

Dont let the facts get in your way.
  12. Marta Shearing
I'll go with the reliable guy you can count on being in the lineup. Thats not mauer.

Some people wanna call it "good cop, bad cop". I call it an elaborate scheme of lying.

    amen brother

    Five unearned runs.
  16. Marta Shearing
Pitch framing metrics.....what will they come up with next? Ridiculous.
  17. Marta Shearing
If gardenhire and doumit are back next year, gardy'll find a way to have him in the lineup everyday.
  18. Marta Shearing
Him and swarzak should have switched rolls long ago.
  19. Marta Shearing
Is that really what happened with Billy Smith? He asked for more payroll and they fired him?

If they can get a can't miss starting pitching prospect for Rosario, they gotta do it. I just don't think any team would give up that much for Rosario. Who says he doesn't fit the corner outfield profile? He's a great hitter. That's good enough for me. And he can't be worse defensively than Arcia.

Kubel was mediocrity defined. Arcia darn well be better than kubel. Kubel was a great gap hitter before the knee injury. After that he got fat, lazy, and tried to hit HR's every atbat.
  22. Marta Shearing
I think he's gonna be great. My 2015 outfield is Rosario, Buxton, Hicks. Arcia is my DH.

Mauer is most valuable to this team playing 162 games at 1st base. Pinto, Herrmann, and Doumit are more than capable of handling the catching duties.
  24. Marta Shearing
I remember a play sliding into 2nd base he got spiked in the head and needed stitches. Always liked john moses.
  25. Marta Shearing
Because common sense tells you they really have no choice. Another foul tip could end his career. Besides, he'll be an elite hitting 1st baseman. He'll be a better hitter without the wear and tear of catching. I think he could get back to his MVP form.
