  1. At those speeds if he misses his spot, he’s essentially batting practice.
  2. WE CAN FIX HIM. Oh wait, never mind…..
  3. Wasted brilliant start……check Limited defensive range…..check Critical Defensive Gaff……check Abysmal situational hitting….check What am I missing?
  4. 79 mph hanging around the top of the zone is not a good thing for Rogers.
  5. Brilliant Joe Ryan start wasted. Probably need to get used to that. At least until August.
  6. I’ve had enough of Morny. Good thing there isn’t much season left.
  7. Morny lost when he talked about throwing something at his brothers head
  8. I’m still upset about that Lee at bat. Not competitive. I hope he gives me a reason to forget that soon.
  9. Brooks Lee talking about “playing our style of baseball “. And that would be?????
  10. Watching pregame introductions for Orioles. “Batting practice pitcher” gets a uniform and onfield recognition. Now there’s a job I’m qualified for!
  11. Some here do seem to have a quick trigger when it comes to Wallner. I agree he should be put in the 4 or 5 spot and left alone to do his thing. He’s not the worst major leaguer I’ve seen in RF and he’s a good bet to lead the team in RBIs (yes, they still matter) and possibly HRs if he’s healthy and they leave him alone.
  12. Agreed. And I just don’t see how he gets reinvented as a reliever with his FB in the high 80’s with no gimmick frisbee slider or whatever.
  13. Honestly, I hope all or at least some of these moves we’re dissing work out . I’ll gladly admit to being wrong if this turns out to be a somewhat competitive team. But I’ve been watching the Twins since the 1960’s, and there haven’t been too many times that I can remember where it looked this bad going into a season. How they’re going to market this mess is beyond me. Shouldn’t be hard to get a Target Field ticket at least. See you at the park.
  14. It’s sad that we’re talking about Kreidler at all. Nothing on him as a person, and he’s enjoyed more the baseball “dream” than any of us, but honestly no matter how many positions he could play, I won’t ever be paying my hard earned dollars to see him bat. We’re not a Ryan Kreidler away from being a playoff team this year. I’d rather the roster reflected an investment in the future as opposed to guys we know aren’t going to be here any longer than they have to be.
  15. Any chance Ober get extended Spring Training, or is that only for documented injuries or late signings? But then he’s been on schedule for throwing this off season and spring training so far, so maybe this is what he is?
  16. Orze pitching his way off the opening day roster, or has that already been decided?
